Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Gus not having much luck, players finally seeing through him.

Two 34 year old pensioners in the halves in Brissie.
St George probably have the shittest halves pairing
in the comp with Flanagan & Ilias if we're being honest.

Yeah pretty embarrassing for him & the club. Their
highest profile recruit is Marcelo Montoya lmao.
Got to feel for them they've missed out on everyone.
I could think of a few reasons as to why. Tupouniua,
Enari Tuala & Tom Amone is a shit recruitment drive.
St George missed out on a few too. Their recruitment
reminds me of us not long ago with Val Holmes,
Damien Cook & Clint Gutherson, all aging and on
3 year contracts — we took all the pieces off the chess
board with our recruitment for 2025. Very exciting

It's best to wait for actual results before rubbishing another teams recruitment. I remember everyone saying the same thing last year about the Dogs & then they finished in the top 8.

I'm not rubbishing anyone.... I said it's embarrassing
for St George & Bulldogs - we're coming off of 3 spoons
in a row and cleaned up the best players available
on the market that's all. The seasons unpredictable
as always 4 sure, I'm gloating more than anything lol

Great point Kaito. All credit to Benji and Richo in selling the dream. It is pretty amazing they have beaten out the Dogs to Luai and May.

Ben Hunt to the Broncos for 2 years
Another domino falls! Questions from this ...

Do Broncos need to release a player for next season due to salary cap constraints? (i.e. Hetherington, Cobbo or possibly even Staggs)

Will the Roosters look for another player as halves reinforcement? (i.e. AD, Sullivan)

Will the Dolphins also look for another player as halves reinforcement as they only have Katoa, Nikorima, O'Sullivan in top 30?

i cant see kobe leaving broncos -- madge singled him out over all other playes on his interview with satts on SEN.

Said he loves those players.

Can't see it happening -- UNLESS -- we offer big bucks or broncs have to push a player out

Don't think its a matter of talking down other teams recruitment. It is about acknowledging some pretty handy work from Benji and Richo in beating out the dogs and dragons to a couple of players. A pretty big achievement considering where the club has been

We have all been Tigers fans too long to be running a victory lap in December though
