Tim Johannssen is a lot bigger and stronger than most think .. he is very athletic for a guy of his size .. played number 8 in the Knock on effect cup .. but he is more suited as running edge back rower ..he'd be perfect to pack in the 2nd row with Sam Fainu .. both tall athletic players. Johannssen isnt afraid to the hard work either in running the ball up like a prop. I really hope Tim progresses this year as full time 1st grader. (he's around 195cm and 100Kgs) but with a full preseason with the NRL team under his belt will only benefit him putting on size, strength and conditioning needed to be an NRL player.Yeah was thinking he had the right shape, fitness, movement but I haven't seen him play a lot
Why would they want another backup 5/8 when they already have 3?Lachlan Ilias officially released from the Rabbits, set to sign with Dragons today.
So that leaves Rabbits with no backup outright halfback behind Lewis Dodd for the coming season. They have options for 5/8 like Schuster, Humphreys, Wighton & Gray if Cody Walker moved to half.
But I hope they have a look at Bud Sullivan & consider a 250k:300k split with us for him for 3 years.
Bud Sullivan is still young with tons of upside. Just unlucky to find himself 4th string half.Lachlan Ilias officially released from the Rabbits, set to sign with Dragons today.

I’ve only seen Tim Johannssen coming off of the bench as a middle in NRL. I haven’t seen him play 2nd row in any grade but I haven’t watched much reserve grade.Tim Johannssen is a lot bigger and stronger than most think .. he is very athletic for a guy of his size .. played number 8 in the Knock on effect cup .. but he is more suited as running edge back rower ..he'd be perfect to pack in the 2nd row with Sam Fainu .. both tall athletic players. As a backup halfback. They have lost Dean Hawkins & Lachie Ilias now. Bud could be a good contingency plan if Lewis Dodd gets injured or does not perform up to standard. Why would they want another backup 5/8 when they already have 3?
Can't we just cancel his visa.Yep but likely a termination fee will be negotiated. Bateman doesn't want to be here as much as the club doesn't want him. Bateman (or Moses) will say you owe my client 1.3mil. Richo will say if I'm going to pay that he can come play Reggie's. They'll agree on a value somewhere in the middle which will be included in the cap.
4th string at the spooners...does that make him 68th string in the league?Bud Sullivan is still young with tons of upside. Just unlucky to find himself 4th string half.
He will be a good player somewhere soon.
Galvin = 65th or 17th string?4th string at the spooners...does that make him 68th string in the league?
Always liked AJ. Very few Souffs players I can say that about.Apparently Alex Johnston is testing the market and Souths won't stand in way if he wants out next season.
He's coming off injury and turning 30 next season. While he's definitely a better option than Staines, he'll probably want three years at above average coin.
To be fair we are listed as giving Haemasi one, Souths has given Maddax Fui one, so no real big deal.Did anyone see that manly have given Onitoni Large a train and trial contract .
It seems the family want him in first grade sooner than later .
Agreed, he has a good attitude as well. I think he will go far.Bud Sullivan is still young with tons of upside. Just unlucky to find himself 4th string half.

he literally ran straight in that videoCan't tell me Johannssen can't play on an edge man,
hopefully he kicks on I love seeing a late bloomer...
tell me, how do you get our stats in an excel format?Putting some stats out there:

So if were talking defense, were talking a back line of:
Mason,
Skelton
Olam
Turuva
Staines.
^which I guarantee we won't see this lineup all year.
If were talking attack:
Turuva 18 tries
Bula 10 tries
Staines 9 tries
Olam 6 tries
SKelton, Latu and even AD have crossed for 2-3 tries each...
No matter what, I can't see a starting lineup without Olam, Turuva and Staines!
I think the latter is far more likely. As a backup halfback. They have lost Dean Hawkins & Lachie Ilias now. Bud could be a good contingency plan if Lewis Dodd gets injured or does not perform up to standard.
