Yep just heard it up hear and $ 600 k per year , seems a bit low as fins offer was 800 - 600. NRL can’t see this far north so no cap issue , and goes to broncos for 200 less ,

Yep 100% spot on. That’s why I thought we would jag Hetherington , but no the just add another SOO. Player no problem , nothing to see here ,

We will finish above a lot of teams on paper but footy doesn't work like that

I to have been pretty harsh on Sayfart, but your correct if you take out the stupid penalties and errors there’s a good player in there. Although that could be said about most players, he seems to have passion and determination that a lot of players lack and can’t be taught. I think if he came through the grades in a team with a stronger roster he would’ve been making those errors in reggies, but on the flip side he now has plenty of NRL experience at a young age and if he can eliminate the penalties and errors then we may end up with a decent forward, and now we are building a decent forward pack, so I’m happy to keep him at a reasonable price.
He still looks like a baby giraffe trying to walk for the first time, but he’s our baby giraffe.

In his last games you could clearly see his efforts to improve discipline - several clear incidents where he was pulling his hands out of situation etc

So who have the Broncos released so far, only player I know of is Corey Oates cause he retired ???

poor Roosters let May go thinking their getting Hunt, nek minute he signs with the new salary cap sombreros the Broncos and end up with no one and let their best forward of 24 season signs with us...that puts a big big smile on my face.

It is hard to believe....
But having robbed them of about 400k / Year for the last 7 years might make it a bit easier.

Everyone forgets he was on 1.2mil in 2018!!
That's like 3 Salary Caps ago - The Best Halves are barely getting that now, And he's been no where near the best half in that time...

Thinking about it a bit more I think they'll release one of Paix or Smoothy for '25 as they have enough hooker options with Billy Walters & long-term Blake Mozer.

The "ruling themselves out" of negotiations as they sign somewhere else is becoming a bit obvious now.

The NRL will always look after the donkeys as they are the number 1 team in QLD and in the largest city there and it is an area that they need to keep healthy

Corey Oates got a radio gig good luck to him. He is still only 30 he wouldn't have been a bad signing to see how he would go in the backrow but it's looking like it will come from inhouse

Both Hunt and Reynolds are on roller skates going down the hill. Okay both were once very very good footballers but I think they will struggle. Always risky to knock champions but I don’t see this as a great signing for the Bronks

So if were talking defense, were talking a back line of:
Mason,
Skelton
Olam
Turuva
Staines.

^which I guarantee we won't see this lineup all year.

If were talking attack:
Turuva 18 tries
Bula 10 tries
Staines 9 tries
Olam 6 tries

SKelton, Latu and even AD have crossed for 2-3 tries each...

No matter what, I can't see a starting lineup without Olam, Turuva and Staines!

If you're talking defence then you're also talking tackle efficiency, kick defusal, metres gained, breaks+tries conceded etc
