Honestly, he has won 4 premierships if he takes a side from the spoon to a premiership and gets a couple more origin wins along the way it puts him in the immortal conversation.

Also, year 2 is not reported as being a clause year.
It is 2 years + last 3 have clauses.

I dunno a lot depends on Big Chin's shoulder. If he goes down again they go from amazing to good pretty fast.

Yes thats right, but they do not mention what the circumstances must be to trigger his clauses.
Usually these clauses are predicated based on some event, for example the Stefano clauses.
There is not enough detail around the clause triggers.
I'd like to know before jumping the gun.

Yea the article I saw said the same deal was offered to Pascoe and he knocked it back. Not sure the time frame works if that's the case. Sounds like some ex has his nose out of joint and wants to derail things.

Yep 100% and I’m pretty sure Richardson will come out today and clear things up as he normally does. The bloke knows what he is doing if this deal was required to get things done then so be it

I think this puts pressure on Benji. No improvement and he has to be gone by Rd 10 imo. Can't waste any more time.
However for the money he's on and with what we've got around him im not worried yet that Luai just packs up and leaves in 2 years. Frankly if he wanted to a contract wouldn't keep him here anyway.
The PR damage is the worst bit, in reality its a reminder that we have improved at all yet, since no footy has been played for 2025!

Two years of stability is our best chance of winning and retaining JL. Another coach sacking probably results in Luai taking his first opportunity out.
