The Murdoch Media also are co-owners of the NRL & in recent years WT have copped the rough end of the pineapple when it comes to refs with way more dodgy refereeing decisions than most if not all other clubs including some VERY controversial losses, especially the infamous loss against the Cowboys after the bell.

Is there a conspiratorial covert push to get rid of the WT as the NRL add at least 2 new teams? Sometimes I believe that is so, led by the media particularly the Murdoch Media.

Isaac Moses, Buzz are just two people who take the p#$& out of the club.

Contract clauses in every team. The fact that Luai can leave after two years isn't a bad thing. He might not be able to handle halfback. Who knows.

Mitchell Moses has the same clauses. Don't here about them.
 
Really don’t like when we play the victim. We ourselves know how much of a basket case the club has been since the beginning of time, so why do we get upset when it’s pointed out? And why the timing of this thread? Cos of the Luai contract? If it’s info that’s disclosed to them, of course it’s newsworthy given he’s practically the face of the game atm.

One thing will minimise the constant beat down of us is winning. Its simple, win and they win mostly leave us alone.

I want to make it clear that I am not sticking up for "our former Ceo & Chairman and a current board member".....but, what makes you so sure that you have "no doubt" these 3 are responsible for the "recent leaks".
I can only guess you have some sort of actual proof this is the case, so would you like to name the current board member, so we all know?
Otherwise, some on here could accuse you of spreading false accusations.

Yes Hate and strong emotion makes and compels us to "CLICK". That's all the journalists think about. It's why Benji and Luai could have a talk together and the article will read "Benji not seeing Eye-to-eye with Romey". Followed by "Romey wanting to roam".

Sells far more articles then "Benji, can make the 8".

Process of elimination. Firstly the sponsorship announcement was a little shot at the former bosses with Richo clearly saying people had publicly said they couldn’t get the major corporate deals they once had. Lee was very outspoken on his weekly radio segment regarding this. Within a week of the announcement these clauses got leaked, I rule out coincidence. I rule out Richo, I rule out Benji both aren’t going to get our star recruit offside. I rule out Romey what player leaks his own contract details before it begins. I rule out Wok. I don’t know Wok but I have a mutual friend of Wok. My mate didn’t get any info prior to Romey signing other than we are interested in Romey (I asked multiple times for info but Wok didn’t give up anything) From what I was told that Romey, his family and management team believe Romey will thrive here for a long time. If his manager has long term vision of Romey staying here I rule him out. So we have 3 people who would have info of the deal. Dennis Burgess, Lee Hagipantelis & Justin Pascoe. Lee has multiple media contacts. It is a clear attempt to derail our preseason. I was a little shocked when Michelle Bishop said she would receive inside information almost weekly. If it comes from Brent Read then you could have a case of Richo leaking.

Good posting twentyforty. You, @Tom Shines and @Magpie_Magic are writing some interesting and good quality material, which is sadly missing on here a lot of the time.
But then I guess most of us (but not all of us) were born and raised in the lower socioeconomic end of town being Balmain (now gentrified) and the fabulous fighting fibro's from the Western Suburbs, me included 😁.

I don't think the entire media cares about bringing Tigers up or down.

They write articles which believe will get clicks and views.

If Tigers bashing is in, they'll do that and if Tiger praising is in, they'll do that.

I believe Brown has even worse clauses in his Parra contract. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Parra could lose both their halves each year after next. Risky proposition if true

"We start winning, and the Journalists will stir muck out of a player manager or disgruntled leaker and use that to de-rail our season"!
