Just as I said in a post yesterday "THE MAGPIES LOST THEIR SOUL", and now it seems to me there is a push on to take away anything and everything that the Magpies have left.

And again, as I said yesterday the Magpies were left with owning 90% of WT's but in reality, that means zilch as you can't own 90% of a lost soul = 90% of nothing.

Wests Magpies didn't just gift Balmain 10% of the WT's, they gifted Balmain the whole friggin club.

And that's what I was conveying to cochise back in 2019 and he has put 💩 on me ever since.
My words to him then as I have already stated... "Balmain were vanquished due to owning only 10% of the club, while Wests Magpies were the victor in owning 90%, but it seemed to me like Balmain was the victor at the time as the Magpies had lost their soul".

A short while after my post in 2019 I did admit to using a bad choice of words which to a very staunch Balmain follower and Wests Magpies hater, may have sounded inflammatory, but the meaning of my words and the outcome that exists still today, is exactly the same.

So Wests were left owning 90% of the place but "lost their soul"... You are creating some bizarre heartbroken fantasy.
What exactly do you want?
It sounds like you just want to whine about the Magpies being screwed over even though both sides have saved each other at one point or another.
I'm almost 40 and the 2 clubs joined when I was early in my teen years. I don't care about Balmain or the Magpies unless it helps the Wests Tigers.
Move on!

mate I’m on the Magpies side of the merger. I play reserve grade, albeit not very well, in the Macarthur comp. I grew up on the hill at Campbelltown. I have mates who work at the club and have family who played in the lower grades for Wests.

I was simply trying to show solidarity with those who were historically Balmain. no true Wests Tigers fan wants to see the return of the Magpies or the Balmain Tigers. we’re one club.

I always thought it would have been interesting to have the Balmain Magpies as the reserve grade side.

It could've been worse - a merge with Manly - Balmanly - or Cronulla - The Tiger Sharks! or if Wests had relocated to Adelaide they'd be The Port Adelaide Western Suburbs Magpies! (A bit of Teal to brighten the jersey perhaps?) 🤪 🤪 🤪 🥃 🥃 🥃 🍺 🍺 🍺

Mate you guys went off about a dream that a Wiggle had and a Balmain board director with no power threatening the future of JV.
Burgess and Romero are a faction within the board with controlling power and a divisive accusations from other Wests Board members have become public knowledge that point directly at him and now you want to be dismissive.
Cmon I get your allegiance to the Magpies and even understand it but this has got head in the sand written all over it.

I believe there should be separation between boards of the ownership group and the boards of the Wests Tigers.

It is a very different skill set required to run a modern professional sporting organisation compared to a leagues club. So I believe that the ownership group should set up a board that will run their asset for them and allow that asset to be successful both on and off the football field.

The current infighting of the board of the HBG, shows that board times be a dysfunctional rabble that has been damaging the Wests Tigers brand.

These changes were unanimously accepted by the ownership groups 12 months ago and should be enacted as soon as possible.

I very honestly 110% did not know what happened to cochise even though Canberratiger thinks I should.
I very honestly pondered if he had been sacked because of his bad attitude and unsuitability as a mod or whether it was due to the serious health issues I had been told he had.
