Bumrah than daylight for man of the series. Best bowler in world cricket by some distance and seems a likeable sort of bloke.

He seems to bowl 90% of the overs from one end and the blokes operating at the other end have struggled so it’s understandable why he takes so many wickets. Where the Australians bowling has been a team effort.

He is a very likeable bloke but that will undoubtedly change if he is forced into the captaincy role for an extended time. There is enormous pressure on being the captain of the richest country in cricket which also happens to be the most populous country in the world, failure is not accepted by either the BCCI or the 1.5 billion people who live there. For all of his talent i do not envy his future if India continue to underperform

Cummins is right beside Bumrah for mine and if we win this test he deserves player of the series as he has had huge contributions with bat and ball whilst captaining.

The question is, who is the most feared player in this series. Do you think the Indian bowlers fear Head or Smith more than the Aussie batsmen fear Bumrah?

Really dumb of CA to come up with a green seamer when all we needed was a win or a draw .
So now draw is out of the question so its win or India retain the trophy
The BCCI make sure all pitches are doctored to suit
But we just do ??
Thankfully thé ÇA care a bit more about the paying public than to prepare a road and pick 8 batsmen. In any case we’d risk the pitch being rated below standard.

On the upside the pitch may improve tomorrow so hopefully a few of our guys can play long innings,

How did it directly lead to the wicket? Makes no sense at all

I know im pushing it uphill here. Perhaps i should use a different word than directly.

But I compare it to when Bateman sledged Tino.

You can’t say that Brooks hospital pass was directly caused by the sledge yet one thing led to another and wham! Just pure coincidence? Tino hits hard in every tackle yet there was something different about that one. The sledge completely changed the psychology of the moment and an opportunity was created for Tino to put that extra bit of effort in.

i know i am in the minority here, but i dont like the way sam konstas is carrying on, we were wasting time not to get a another over in and Bumrah had every right to say hurry up!! If that was us and the oppostion was doing the same im sure we would kick off too. For a guy in his second test is certainly lippy!! Yes i am an 80s kid and dont understand the new kid retrict but show the best bolwer i have seen visit these shores a bit of respect!! Bumrah has been nothing but respectful this whole tour and i believe is a brilliant captain!! Yes he ran towards Sam after the wicket but tell me who wouldnt do that..

To put it simply. A confrontation like that sometimes gives players extra motivation. If the roles were reversed and the batsman hit the bowler for 4 or 6 the next delivery, everybody would it put it down to the batsman feeling steely eyed. It shouldn’t be any different for a bowler.

It’s Test cricket.
You play the game on the field, in the media, in the sheds. You find advantage where you can.
Konstas is under their skin. Had Khawaja not shit the bed his tactics would have worked. He’d have a nice dinner and restful sleep whilst they toss and turn thinking of how to get back at him tomorrow.
It’s all part of the theatre.

He’s getting a lot of people defending him cos he’s the shiny new toy, and that first innings on Boxing Day was a like a sugar hit for the public. He needs to score runs though, otherwise people will turn on him and his shtick pretty fast. I also know I’m in the minority here, but leave all the “look at me look at me” rubbish and trying to rev the crowd up for 20/20. It’s a party atmosphere. That’s part of the appeal. It’s not the time or place in the first session of a Test match.

Why wouldn’t he be under their skin? A cocky teenager who has achieved nothing is getting in their face, not just with the bat, but physically and is instigating verbal confrontations. Any competitive athlete would get their noses out of joint thinking “Whose this kid think he is”. So is he under Bumrah’s skin? Probably. Is it putting Bumrah off his game? You tell me.
