100% agree. I may not be a massive poster on here, but as the long time members of this forum know, I have been around a long time. And this is seriously close to the pettiest and most annoying debate that has ever gone on on this forum.

@BZN and @cochise you are both grown adults. Can we start acting like it. And yes i am calling both of you out on it. Despite perhaps one side being the agressor more than the other, and despite a "truce", you are both as complicit in all of this.

I do have an opinion on who I agree with in this debate, and it is pretty clear that like most, it is on that side whith the majority (despite being an original Magpies supporter myself), but I would like to come onto this forum, and actually see a proper debate, rather than a slanging match which is getting nowhere as despite their being clear evidence being presented by multiple parties, some are just trying to stir the pot, and then others are reacting to it.

I did see that @Suzie-Q did comment about it being fair to allow debate, and also that there had been a clean up of waste of time posts, but seriously this has gone on long enough, fair enough to let some things go, but this is now really at the point that a moderator, or what ever you want to be called on here, steps in and ends it.

So either by mod or by people actually acting like civilised adults, can we end it and get back to the actual discussions and followups of what is going on rahter than just wasting everyones time with absolute garbage. I missed the alleged comment that crossed the lines, but seriously if this is getting to the point that even by accident stuff like that is being dropped, it has gone way too far.

And for anyone else that has gotten in on it, read the room. No-one wants this in here, apart from those who are involved, or are being dragged into it. This sthould be a discussion about the Wests Tigers Unite petition and where it is going, not a slanging match over garbage opinions and attacks against those who either state the facts, or disagree with points.

I'm sorry, but is the lamest proverb ever. There’s no evidence at all that Einstein ever said it. And in fact, he wasn’t associated with the phrase until the 80s.

The statement is neither the 'definition' of insanity, and logically, it doesn't even stack up at the most basic level.

If I swing a sharp axe at a tree trunk and it doesn't collapse, I'm not insane for doing it multiple times and expecting a different result. If I'm a middle forward and I run at John Bateman and he tackles me, I'm not insane for thinking if I keep doing that I might get a different result.

If this doesn't seem relevant to you it's because you want the MAGPIES GONE.

What would happen if a WESTS MAGPIE fan went to see you not knowing you were a staunch Balmain follower and told you he/she was very unhappy as it seems the MAGPIES are being wiped out.
What would say...something like.... 'sorry you'll just have to suck it up as it seems there is a big push on right now to strip any power the HBG/WESTS MAGPIES have".

Apologies for my post yesterday however when intentional harrasmant and bullying continue for weeks and months & we see rules breached and no action taken, things will always get out of hand... Needs nipping in the bud early

I don’t want to ignite things again , but this has been said a lot . People started getting nasty , because it was obvious the never ending bullying disguised as “good wholesome Aussie bloke , who just loves his team” .
I just think this whole discussion is one of the few discussions that offers no pay off for freedom of speech . (I’m a big advocate for that , it’s why I never block anyone ).
There isnt any alternate view point worth discussing, well none that can see . Not because I don’t want to read it , but literally because it doesn’t exist , outside of creating angst and frustration .

Here's hoping they are securing your credit or deleting after they are used by the system.

There is NO evidence to support this claim.

HBG has a fully web based sign up page which then goes to a fully secure payment gateway.
BTRLFC has a web baes form which asks for mobile and email address with a "we will contact you" page (I dont know if this contact page then results in a form being emailed out, the poster did not answer this).

This is an issue with many of the comments on this page. Unsubtantiated claims of truth.

Some of us are posting factual information and have the evidence to support the facts (borard lists/Fin Reports/legal docs etc)

Others are claiming "facts" which are "opinions".

Not once on a post where I have asked someone to post the evidence to support their comment has this been done.

We are further arguing over an internal football club document which none of us has read nor seen, and relying on third party news stories to "factualise" the claims being made.

I honestly think that if we get the independents on the WTs board as Richo said by the end of the month then all of this bickering and inuendo will cease...We are heading into a season with some really good vibes surrounding our future as a fantastic NRL side...
We all have to stay together and be strong in our support of the Wests Tigers because that is who we are,because of the coming TOGETHER of the 2 great foundation clubs we have an NRL team to be proud of..
Eventually the small potholes along the road we have travelled will be filled and wont annoy us again...

We have a CEO signed for 3 years 99% of us agree is probably the best thing that happened to the club, and we have a team (on paper) which is probably the best we have put together in a decade.... we have some incredible juniors coming thru.

Lets leave Richo to manage the front office, and lets get back to debating if Benji is the coach who can lead this team!

2) Doesn't look like Liquor and Gaming going to do anything, they began an investigation prior to the petition for the 3 suspended directors, unrelated to constitutional issues.

3) It’s unlikely there will be a change to an act of parliament re clubs act,

4) HBG doesn't have to take any notice of your petition,

5) And the chief supposed reason for launching the petition was to achieve what's just been announced.
