Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

They are. Blue prints still on the table. For all the submarines. When all the councils agree across the board to a 60% hike rate we can move on to the next stage. Importing people for cheap money to build em

Can't see that fool back in the media any time soon, thanks for the rocky description mate It has me motivated to dancing around the room like a butterfly and throwing punches that sting like a bee, all that's missing is the music.
Paul Kent has the soundtrack. Did you see him in action outside the pub? You two might get along?

The gist from the WTP forum is that the Galvin discussion might all become moot soon .

Which you’d have to think an extension of some kind is in the works .
A lot of people on here seem to be obsessed with the propaganda clickbait gossip rather than looking at the key info from people at the club.

Richo had said we would kick off talks in the new year, but hadn't done so yet, or not until very recently if so. Galvin had given the club some targets to achieve in order for him to open discussions for an extension. He's a winner, and talented player, he doesn't want to win a spoon every season if he stays, and that's fair enough!

What these terms were, we don't know. Board, coaching , playing talent related? I have no problem with a talented player saying don't just tell me you're getting your act together, show me . Actions speak louder than words. He wants to know that he's going to be developed by the club, be happy, improve and compete to win trophies. Once we've shown him that we are indeed taking actions and are on the right track then his agent will open negotiations.

That's no guarantee that he will stay, but he has said he'd like to build a legacy in Campbelltown before. Everything he's said has been generic, non committal stuff, leave it to manager, concentrate on footy etc. Richo has said he's confident it will get done.

He's still so young, signing a 4 or 5 year extension effective immediately still has him off contract when he's 23-24 with his best years ahead of him

Hopefully an extension is forthcoming sooner rather than later. Bula previously got 2 contact extensions in 6 months!

Bulldogs sign Warriors second rower Zyon Maiu'u effective immediately.

Dogs sign another second rower that they don't need, yet we are starting the year with Seyfarth likely starting in the back row.
I’m pretty sure Zyon Maiu’u is a prop, not a second rower.
Regardless it’s a good signing as he’s an extremely aggressive and mobile young prop who looks to have a stack of potential.
If we are smart we would be already putting the feelers out to sone of their talented players who will likely not see much NRL with the Bulldogs in 2025 or 2026 in light of their recruitment drive.

1. The bloke is a prop.
2. The bloke has played 1 game of 1st grade, do you think he would be in our starting side for round 1?
3. Seyfarth finished the year strongly and will continue to improve with the side on the up.

This was the guy you were talking about wasn't Vicious
I was talking about Logan Spinks who I believe is a replica of a young Boyd Cordner, but Finau is a big unit and mobile for a back rower, he would be good to get back from the Bulldogs.
They have another monster young back rower with size and mobility similar to Kikau, his mane is Sosaia Alatini.
Gus has done very well in stockpiling young talent, but they can’t all play NRL for the one club.
