Doobie is a keeper my friend, don’t you get it and he’ll be there, May or not.
Don’t think it was so much that. With a decent chase Ponga wouldn’t have been so effective getting out of his in goal.Well thats going to be an issue considering most clubs have good fullbacks..
What frustrates me aswell is the fact some of you so called tigers fans are the equivalent to infant kids throwing tantrums when things do not go your way.
For what reason do you think that the tigers should immediately be a top 4 side in the NRL ?
There were so many positives in that game against the knights. Although we could have conceded more tries to poor execution from the knights, however, our defence was a lot stronger then it has been years prior.
Also, big wraps for Heath Mason. Although the bloke wasnt a stand out and did cough up a costly error the bloke ran it up the guts and was under pressure a lot of the time and stood his ground. To be a 19 year old Fullback in the NRL has got to be one of the most pressuring moments. He done what he could do he is still learning don't beat up on the young kid.
Personally, i feel as though Galvin's cryptonite is a good fullback. It has come to some reflection that the games that galvin hasn't performed well in last season was against teams with good fullbacks. It looked like he was to worried about where kalyn was going to be on last which performed some poor execution and decision making. Lets hope the bloke turns it around he's still young and has a lot to learn
If like to answer...Why are we always looking for a saviour ?
It’s a team game and no one person is going to do it. Just watched the replay and both our attacking and defensive structures were very poor.
No real cohesion which is the same as previous years. Good to see Benji has rolled out his canned press conference face, I hope that was just a front for what must have been very disappointing for him. I know he has to defend the team, but boy it must have hurt inside.
Anyway, onward and upward they say. We’ve knocked off Parra a bit recently and they have no Moses.
I think it was more than 50.50 MISSED TACKLES.
HURRY ALONG 2026.
As usual, good comments D but have a go at solving our backline issues, this week.Anyway, next year, maybe even towards the end of this year.....
Our backline could look like;
1. Jahream Bula 🇫🇯
2. Sunia Turuva 🇫🇯
3. Taylan May 🇼🇸
4. Heamasi Makasini 🇹🇴
5. Jeral Skelton 🇼🇸
That's actually a really well balanced backline with some strike and if Makasini continually developes like we hope, we've got a star on our hands.

Bula is straight back in, obviously. As usual, good comments D but have a go at solving our backline issues, this week.
I’ll start things off;
1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. Skelton
4. Toa
5. Douehi ( the new Ross Conlon or Darrel Halligan - poor tackler, fair runner but above average goal kicker).
What do you think ?
Who is injured, how did he get a start?junior tupoe having his usual horrible hands tonite,
But that’s almost the same as last night and we never looked like making breaks.Bula is straight back in, obviously.
Not sold on Toa but I think Benji likes him.
Skelton, too good on the wing. He stays.
1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. Toa / Faatape
4. ADizzle
5. Skelly
Yep, sadly...But that’s almost the same as last night and we never looked like making breaks.
Plenty for the coaching brains trust to think about after video session.
Yep, sadly...
I'm hoping Gal x Luai gel and Luai takes more control of the game.
Puts his backs in space.
I'm also hoping we hear about what's next for Taylans future too and he's woken up to himself.

It is this exactly .. Doughi stands up slow and casually walks over the ball , never thinking of the team or momentum .. it is so dumb and or selfish, also the tackle style of trying to hold the player up instead of hitting hard in defence a la Seyfarth means that the opposition never fears being hurt in the tackle so they all start looking like Arthur Beetson ,, they have to start throwing them on the ground, hard .. apart from that they really tried hard and they have a lot to work with IMO ..We lacked in faster play the balls, which seems to be a year in year out problem that needs to be coached more into this team to get on the front foot. We were the better team in the first half, but simply did not play for the 80 minutes to come away with the win once again.
