I had high hopes with Madge but he was in his 4th year here and we got worse each year. We all know he was a good coach with good players (kiwis, SOO) but he couldn’t improve average players.

I was a big critic of him after season 2, but I had no idea at that time how incompetent Pascoe and Hagi-clownitis were and what extra drama Madge may have been dealing with . I look back now and recall that he kept his chin up and kept fronting up so I’m now in the neutral camp wrt Madge’s actual culpability for the debacle that was his tenure .. I with him all the best

I think it came up, as if there was an opportunity for u to find another team for the next few years we wouldn’t hold u back. But they will also would have sad your not required next season, so u won’t be playing 14 games this season to invoke your new contract. It’s up to u.
