Galvins gone. If he gave 2 shits about the club this wouldnt even be an issue. Shown his true colours to the team and the fans. Was never happy here, his ego is off the charts. I cant blame the guy, everywhere he turns hes getting handys off the RL media saying hes the greatest player to ever put on boots. It was always going to be a Mosses and Teddy situation with Galvin, could see it a mile away. Sign the paperwork to stay on kid or be dumped to under develop for the team youre going to for the rest of the year in reggies. Time to play 6. Jerry, 7. Latu.

Humphreys was a great junior half Manly Wanted to turn him into a 9
I still think there is a chance he mite end up at 9 at Souths
But for some reason Bennett had a big number 7 at the dolphins and now has a big number 7 at Souths

That new guy is Jamie Humphreys and he came to Souffs from Manly.
Saw him play for Manly last year and was very impressed with him.
A bit of a shame he didn't end up a Tiger with his family history.
His Grand Father Kevin played for Balmain and ended up as Club Secretary at Balmain before moving on to a number of administrative positions with the NSW Rugby League and ARL, A career that unfortunately ended up in controversy.
His father, Stephen played for Balmain and later became CEO of Wests Tigers before becoming CEO at Manly where he still is currently.
Something I only found out was that Jamie was a ball boy at Wests Tigers during the time his father was CEO of Wests Tigers.

I just read that he’s currently on $250k a year which will rise to possibly $350k next year. Now that’s good coin(imo) when you’re 19/20 but he’s being seduced, both directly and indirectly, by what might be available “outside”.
Now I’m not sure where you take the bidding, is another club going to say
“ whatever the Tigers offer, we’ll beat it” or “they’re non winners so come to us “.

First things first, he needs to show what hes capable of before the real bidding starts. And to me that means ongoing improvement.
I think it’s too early to tell, coming from the ESL to the NRL I imagine will take a bit of time to get up to the speed of the game.

On the money Hal, if he dishes up the same shit as last week he may get a reality check and go back to Ressies so Latu can have a crack at 6. I imagine the forum would implode, but that would be the discussion I would have with him on the quiet as a motivator.
That would quickly shut down all of this million dollar man speak. He is a kid with potential - nothing more at this stage. If he isn't doing what he is being directed to I would drop him like a hot rock (but give him a strong indication and milestones for him to hit to get himself back into FG).

I dunno, you have one career you gotta explore options. Don't blame him at all.
I honestly think this is a blessing in disguise. Galvin won't be in the halves for long, so any decent money spent on him is going to be overs for a player with no NRL forwards experience. Galvin has shown plenty of guts and grit for a young rookie, but continually stifles our attack . It may have been impressive last year with a terrible backline but yes actually got something to work with this year and we will be in attacking positions much more regularly with our pack. I think deep down Richo might know this already and won't throw the sink at him.
Latu's style would compliment Luai much more imo and would make the Tigers a more rounded team.

Wonder how long his mental health starts to suffer and he begins kicking stones. If it's a messy situation like Mitchell, Isaac Moses needs a black mark over his name. The club should do everything in its power to avoid dealing with the worm.
