Call his bluff like steffano. You know they aren’t serious in staying if they kick the can down the road with that deal.Fwiw, Weidler on 100% reckons we will offer 5 years/$5m

Gould is 100% right. Galvin is no where near a million dollar player but this is the day and age of managers and commissions are involved.Goulds comments on the money is interesting. He is not wrong, but is he trying to offer up an alternative if Galvin wants to move away from the pressure of carrying the Tigers?
If Galvin is signed to that kind of money- a position needs to be found for Latu Fainu or he sucks up too much of our cap to be a back-up.Having 2 half’s on over $1 million & 2 back up half’s (Sullivan back next year) on over $500k is not good salary cap management…
BS .. he knows nothingCall his bluff like steffano. You know they aren’t serious in staying if they kick the can down the road with that deal.
Mostly rejects from other clubs, with notable exceptionsWell. On the other side of reality. We have others juniors in our system. And that's the other teams mistakes. Like Parramatta and Galvin.
What got me was:Gould is 100% right. Galvin is no where near a million dollar player but this is the day and age of managers and commissions are involved.
I believe Gus is rubbing his hands together waiting for Latu to get a release, he would complete the dogs halves.
Latu and Galvin together would be top shelf.Unfortunately you may be right as i believe Latu has more upside as a half than Galvin does.
The more I listen to Phil Gould, the more I believe his insight.
Galvin isn't worth $5m.
He'll probably get it. And then he has to live up to it or get torn apart by fans & the media.
And if he leaves the Tigers for money- Gould is right. It's the tragedy of the modern game, where development & loyalty are secondary to management greed & fast cash.
I’d rather be paying Galvin that money than end up with a Dylan Brown on the money he’s on.
