I think it’s to make a spot available for Makahisi for when he turns 18?What a bizarre move when we’re already having depth issues… why waste a valuable top 30 spot on someone who could play NRL already?
When does that come about again?Faatape upgrade is only to meet the NRL top 30 roster requirement….
We were sitting in 27 and need to be on 28….Faatape takes us to 28When does that come about again?
What is the numbers required and by when?
I have a big opinion of Luaali and I think we are right for backs :-Not much movement will take place until the Tigers extend Galvin and Da Silva. If they are locked down work has to be done to target a centre, backrower and a middle forward. Big ask but 3 solid NRL players in these positions and things will change consistently.
With all due respect I think you’re very wrong.Galvin has many really good moments but I'm still not convinced he's a top tier player. Still a liability defensively, inconsistent in attack with plenty of errors, often cramps up attacking movements.
So much also to like: variety of passing, kicking game getting better and better, strength to break tackles, high adlib ability and desire for the ball.
I just think it's far too early for 1mil offer.

We definitely need a second rower, if not two. I know some will disagree but i don't think we need another prop as much as we need a lock.I have a big opinion of Luaali and I think we are right for backs :-
Bula
Luaali
Surava
Douhei

Back ups
Toa
Naden

Makasini (perhaps - not convinced by his SG Ball displays to date that he will be a lock in by next season.)
I think warriors were too good for us up the middle, we desperately need another top class prop. And a second rower , that pushes Seyfarth to the bench.
At what point (date) in the season? We were sitting in 27 and need to be on 28….Faatape takes us to 28
I think Latu should play a Yeo style role as lock with Galvin on right and Romey left and free to shift aka Cleary. We definitely need a second rower, if not two. I know some will disagree but i don't think we need another prop as much as we need a lock.
If we were to get a good quality lock, Twal would move back to the front row. We have May who can play big minutes (ideally only 60mins a game) and Pole who can play decent minutes (should be around 50mins). Hunt and either Twal or Sione Fainu can cover the other 50mins between them. If Twal and Hunt are the bench rotation, that would leave Sione and Kit Laulilii out of the 17 and as depth. Adding another prop would block their pathway/opportunities. With the additional second rower, that would also allow Seyfarth to move back to the bench and cover prop if required. That's 7 players capable of playing in the prop position.
If we can get a couple of second rowers, lock AND a prop, thats great but we also don't want to block Sione and Kits pathway moving forward.
I'm disappointed; however, if the leopard looks like it hasn't changed its spots.......I'm gutted that it's looking very unlikely for Taylan to end up here.
I really thought it was a given.
