Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So if according to Hooper, Isaac Moses has an issue with Benji as coach, where does that leave Jahream Bula, Tony Sukkar & Pheonix Godinet long -term?

Bit of a contradiction if true because Godinet just signed a dev deal for 26 with top 30 in 27 with the club.
See how quickly Godinet needs to be released when he earns a contract worth real money. Moses uses us as a dumping ground to train kids as a feeder club to the more sucessfull clubs, or as a dumping ground for blokes to top up their super.

G

Is that likely to help us win games of footy this year?
My point is Galvin is not finished product as yet and is not more likely to win us more games than having Latu in his place.
And in the longer term we will be better off spending the next 18 months polishing up Latu than Galvin.
But i truly believe there will be a player swap for Galvin. I just hope it's not some broken down player like the Blore and Olam swap.

he starts them here because the Tigers have demonstrated they pay kids big money and promote them to the NRL quickly …. Then he is quick to move them onto his preferred clubs

I'm curious of the medias (more so 360) take on this. He seems to be
the first on every Jouno's lips when talk of off contract players this year.
I'm sure he'll be in every Jersey tonight.
But curious in terms of who's going to put a postive spin of our future as a club.

I mean the heckling

That will be just for me to let our my frustration.
At the end of the day we are taking about someone that has been given his chance by the Club and he has not respected it.
His choice at the end of day but I can let him know what I think about his decision
And will take great pleasure with the tigers beating which ever team he ends up at.
Much like how I feel when the tigers beat the eels when Moses is in their starting team.

As a young half, how many rival NRL clubs would you prefer to play with at this point of time ?
There are no positions available in the halves at Melbourne and currently our forward pack ably assisted by our outside backs are providing great go forward and field position, which is ideal for halves to off te back of.
Who knows if there is any truth to not having much confidence in Benji as a coach, but respectfully Benji had enough faith to play him as a regular NRL player at age 18, when it’s highly likely he would have been given that opportunity so soon anywhere else, or by any other NRL coach and Benji has backed him every step of the way.
So even if there is some truth to not rating Benji as a coach, where is the loyalty ?
Surely no rival club will be offering Galvin any more than the 1 million dollars per season we have offered him, so contract money cannot be the problem.

I can see us getting rolled by Parra on the wekend.

Benji's really gonna have to prove his man management skills over the next few weeks.
I can only imagine the core playing group who openly support Benji will be extremely unhappy with Galvin, not the fact that he has knocked back a big money offer to remain at the club, but the fact it’s now being stated by his manager that Benji is the problem.
They could very well refuse to play alongside him ?

The WTF rumour on their poddy: We’re in talks with DCE’s camp as a win now move by richo who wants one last ring before retirement. Idk if I love this or hate this, wanna see latu/luai first
Probably explains the timing of the statement to make it clear that we will be moving in another direction as soon as possible and open up to any other suitors.
I know there are a lot of calls for Luai to go back to six but he won’t do that without an actual senior halfback alongside him.
