OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

PLAYER SWAP OPTIONS

I emailed Richo on this - if its parra there is no one that is of equal to Galvin that they will let go. Moses and Lomax only and I would say Galvin is more valuable than Lomax as a half and with 15 years in front of him.

Richo needs to get the best player he can BUT also add that we can negotiate at any point in the future with up to 2 players, before their Nov 1 contract period and if a deal can be done wiht that player that they get an immediate release.

That way if they have a gun junior in two years, or a good player we need, we can get them over to us straight away.

Its like when we got Steff from Parra and they wouldnt release him early.

If we get this cluase in their with ANY team we do a swap with - then we can get two players in the future... basically cherry pick the ones we want. BUT thats on top of getting a player we want now - but as we've said there's probably no one of value. AND even if they are of value - because Parra or Dogs want LG so bad, i would still push for that clause in their.
respectfully, why do you do this?

he knows what he's doing. his record speaks for itself.

If they want to go down that path, then moses's history of deliberately creating these hostile situations for his clients will become very transparent. He's the one showing an extreme lack of care.
There are so many more flags in relation to his dealings than any poor treatment that Lachy has had at WTs.
He demanded a release last year when we signed Luai the tosser

Conveniently overlooked in all this- Richo was on record stating the club would table a long term deal early in the season for Galvin. People that question the timing of the offer should go back & look for themselves.

The statement released by the club was factual. Necessary? Probably not. But not exactly inflammatory either.

What escalated things was the release of the information of Galvin's reasonings for not even looking at the contract.

Whoever leaked THAT has caused the issue.

The players turning on Galvin- regardless of your thoughts on the social media aspect- is really telling & doesn't get enough airtime discussion. Rarely does a playing group turn on an actual player over contract discussions- that's usually a solidarity call. So there is an issue there regarding Galvin & his relationship with the players. For them to turn on him says a lot.

The new narrative over Luai & Turuva having signed & left Penrith conveniently overlooks a couple of key facts- Penrith couldn't afford to upgrade their contracts for a start. It was only AFTER an agreement couldn't be met internally that they started talking elsewhere. Galvin rejected the Tigers offer without consideration or negotiation. Then his camp blanked Richo & the Tigers in terms of communication.

I'm not sure there is 'value' in trading Galvin for a current player. KPP gets mentioned both as a trade option & as a future target. Well, he's off contract on Nov 1- negotiate then.

If what is happening is what I THINK is happening- the real objective is to out player manager's trying to manipulate clubs. We have some solidarity in former players in the media, other player managers, and a few teams. If Galvin playing KOE for 18 months dims the Galvin star & reduces his suitors & ultimately hurts Isaac Moses in the pocket- that's the win. If some of the Cove clients shift to other managers as a result- even better.

Add Tony Adams to the POS pile. Either he’s deliberately misinforming or he’s conveying that his brain is so tiny that if you put it in a straw, it would look like two kernels of corn rolling into a storm drain

No. They fulfilled their contracts to the best of their ability and never asked for a release to if an existing contract to get more money and used unfounded grievances to cause an untenable situation at their current club

They also weren't offered $1+ million per season by their former club

Agreed

It also helps that the bar is very low. Literally, don't be in the bottom 4 for a couple of years and people will be singing Luai's praises.
He takes us tot he finals this year …. A GF ? A title ? If he took this team to a title , the GOAT talk will shift from Cleary to him . I’ll guarantee you . Especially if the panthers fall back to the pack . I know I’m putting the cart before the horse , but I’m just pointing out the truth with how the zeitgeist works .
Johns won an origin series by himself and 2 titles . Lewis never won the nswrl/arl/nrl title . He just killed it in a weaker qld comp , and qld team . And he’s up there in GOAT talk .
It’s just the truth .
