So, Tuilagi, who wasn't penalised for his shoulder charge on May, is being charged with a grade 2 and will face 3 weeks out.

Sam, who got penalised for a "hip drop" wasn't charged......

I give up, I fkn give up.

My support for the game has dropped off substantially over the course of maybe 5-6 years and this adjudication or lack thereof garbage from officials with replays, literal replays and camera coverage up the wazoo seem to be making bigger and more obvious mistakes than 10-15 years ago and longer.

What makes it worse is the severe lack of accountability from those in charge. The NRL doesn't seem to care, the clubs generally on the bottom of the pecking order seem to cop things the worst, maybe we just get the most inept refs? either way, it's crap and I don't think things will change.

Because Doueihi/Galvin don't adjust on the run and routinely stand too shallow to maintain attacking shape with enougn depth for the play depth for their outside men. to run into

Voss was 100% right about the complete lack of shape on the right side from the set restart in the Parra red-zone that culminated in Douehi shitting the bed with a bobble and popgun grubber into the arms of the defender 2 metres in front of him!

Luai is engaging the line - staying alive - and creating space in attack (while being defensively outstanding) - but his fellow halves have let him down with their lack of spatial awareness & dumb hero plays!

It's a team game - and one rotten apple or weak link in the chain can exponentially compromise the performance of team mates who need to adjust & work harder!

I do see a very promising footballer in young Luke Laul'ili - he'll be a Matt Utai style weapon in the long term!

I don’t know if you were at the game or not today, but there was multiple occasions when the Eels only had 11 and 12 players on the field, the game was in the balance, it was a 3 v 3 on Luai’s left hand side, but the ball did not come his way and it didn’t really look like he wanted it coming his way ?
As for Luke Laulilli, he’s showing promise and is a work in progress, but he is very short and slow in comparison to most rival NRL wingers, so he’s at an instant disadvantage despite all his heart and determination,

Wests Tigers had the perfect chance to prove to Galvin he was making the wrong decision regarding his future.

Instead, they just reinforced his beliefs he'd be better off playing in blue & gold.

Doueihi at 6 or 7 is not a viable option, the club really needs to pull a decent half out of their arse and soon, Latu isn't enough, we need a decent back up.

Latu was our decent back up until Galvin and his worm of a manager effectively pulled him out of our lineup

Which for me now will be Latu taking over at 5/8,
(Today we had 4 missing)
We are building a squad that I have mentioned before will take 2 more years before we can match all teams even if we get a few injuries.
Sure we lost today but those saying we looked like the 2024 team can’t be serious because this team is in every game I have watched this year.
I couldn’t have said that last year.

Today’s poor performance was simply down to the massive turn coat entitled piece of crap. Including his parents and that pond scum manager! I don’t believe the shite about he’s only a 19 year old kid, bullshite, he’s calculated and is owning all this crap. I think a bit of a comeback (almost) masks a lot of the crap today....it was easily our worst effort...some dumb dumb 6 agains given away...defense wasnt too bad early, but line speed was non existant...our play ther balls drive me nuts you can make a cuppa and bake a bloody cake
Latu is a talent but hes real green, and seems fragile....needs to string a lot of 80 mins together to dispel this monkey off his back
Were slow, not as slow as the last few years but still slow enough to be a factor..

Weve been here quite a few times in the last 15 years, things can change so much in a week, let alone two years and bang were back at square one again having built nothing...players these days just walk, the coach wont last without results...we dont have the luck or nous required to put a plan in for several years and see it come to fruition, something always f***s it up

Given you were live at the game I'm sure you tracked his defensive efforts as much as you focused on moments in his attack...

He's an outstanding eyes up footballer - and plays what he sees!
