Wouldn’t surprise me that we announce Kobe Hetherington for 2026.

As an old Balmain supporter, if it's all been funded by the Magpies side of the joint venture then why should Balmain have a team. If Balmain wanted a team, they should've run things better and not got themselves in the position they ended up inBut we still have a Western Suburbs side.
So much for the club not trying to become totally the Magpies again.
And with the Bears coming in 2027, we have the following off contract Nov 1 we should extend especially TDS & Jeral asap ...With the Bears coming in 2027, i'd love to see them throw stupid money at Galvin on Nov 1 and have him walk away from his handshake deal with Parramatta. If there is any manager that would encourage their client to walk away from a handshake deal for more money, its Moses.
I doubt he’s going to get big money. 500k is about the money. He can play his team in the halves is very poor.I really hope we don't sign KPP. He is on way too much money for the output. On 350-400k, then sure. Not on 700-800k.
He’s probably the best natural halfback in the league. He’s been carrying chronic shoulder and a back injury. We are the worst team on the NRL for him he would have to tackle.I'm not a Reynolds fan - great front runner but never the stand up guy when you need him to lift - gets hurt looks mentally lost.
Great kicking game but one year at most for me - and will be shocked anyway if he chose to finish his career at a club at the bottom of the ladder.
DCE on the other hand - also don't think we are the destination that he is looking for
even still, Dogs' cap is in excellent shape.Its reportedly 1.2mil over 3 years so 400k a season.
Latu is(was)the chosen one,but needs to deliver on the field and stay out of rehabHas a long look at a potential top 30 for next year.
We definitely need a backup half.
We can't rely on AD to do that role.
Unless Sullivan is coming back (I don't think he will) ... we need an option.
Tyrone May could be that guy.
All three May bros at the club.
Latu is the guy moving forward.
That’s been my thinking too. After Madge kept Kobe at the Broncos I’ve been surprised he hasn’t been resigned yet and no whispers about a contract. Which is our current way of doing things.Hopefully;
1 Taylan
2 KPP
3 Hetherington
With those guys you have 2 of Sione, Twal or Seyfarth not in the best 17 which is a massive improvement to depth. Likewise the same for on existing outside back, although a few of them are off contract (Doueihi and Naden). Frankly I'm fine with faatape as 3rd centre and Luke as 3rd winger as long as the pack is stronger and the spine gets extended game time together.Hopefully;

Knights and broncos would be the teams we sign from I thinkkeep in mind what Richardson said about having money ready to take advantage of cap squeezes at other clubs. I think you'll find that's where a few of these signings will come from.
A lot of it is “outside the cap”.even still, Dogs' cap is in excellent shape.
I agree. I don't mind the idea of KPP on sensible money. His skillset adds another dimension to our pack. However, I'd prefer an axe murderer of a 2nd rower. Someone who charges onto the ball at speed, hits gaps, & bashes the opposition in defence. Our pack is a little bit one speed. I like the look of Halasima? at the Warriors but I'd settle for Liam Martin.We just need guys who can hold their own in defense and don’t get bullied at the ruck. We have enough classy guys.
Prehaps Noah Martin may be who your after?I agree. I don't mind the idea of KPP on sensible money. His skillset adds another dimension to our pack. However, I'd prefer an axe murderer of a 2nd rower. Haha. Don't know anything about him. Just looked him up. He's def got the head for it!Prehaps Noah Martin may be who your after?
Can't stand the Dogs but the current squad is a masterclass in squad building and cap management.even still, Dogs' cap is in excellent shape.
Thanks P&C I have seen all that as well but my feeling stands. You believe he has potential and if lands here i hope your correct.I'll do my best with your KPP comment. He is 6ft 6inches, is mobile and can unload a ball in traffic. He is a great athlete, and his build is unique especially if he lands at WTs. We know he is relatively inexperienced; the team are not familiar with his game and therefore don't know how to use him to their advantage. Their halves are not playing well so he doesn't get ball except in the last few minutes of that game when he created a try and nearly a second. I believe he has great potential and would fit in with the profile of player we want at WTs.
If that’s the case who would you pick as the 2 in the team, personally I’d go with done and seyfarth as done had the most impact and seyfarth can cover back row and middleWith those guys you have 2 of Sione, Twal or Seyfarth not in the best 17 which is a massive improvement to depth. you're a smart man, 118.Knights and broncos would be the teams we sign from I think
