Would not surprise if we land one of Reynolds or DCE on good money for one season with asst coaching role after that. Latu to basically become the protege & play off bench for next season.

KPP - I reckon Benji can see him flourishing in our side playing off Latu or 1 of above.

No to Bullemore for the single reason of being of Moses client. Will either stay at Manly or go to Parra.

Kobe Hetherington - we were into him in off-season so nothing changes. We can offer more $$$ than Brisbane & greater playing time and opportunity to use his ballskills more. His energy, tenacity & defence-first attitude would bring so much value to our team.

Smokeys for lock instead of Hetherington could be Adam Elliott or Kaide Ellis from Wigan (ex Panther).

Taylan May - then Tyrone to be announced later in season (backup half)

I’ve never really watched Tyrone but would he be able to play lock. We’ve put Latu there with good results and Tyrone is older and you’d expect his body to be able to handle it better

I fully admit I'm far from an expert on roster management. And in 40 yrs I have picked players to boom who have bombed and visa versa.
But for the life of me I can't see the fascination with KPP.
Reynolds rumour has me in 2 minds. Sure he would be a potential coach for young halves but he would be on massive money and is a certainty to miss games from injury.

I'll do my best with your KPP comment. He is 6ft 6inches, is mobile and can unload a ball in traffic. He is a great athlete, and his build is unique especially if he lands at WTs. We know he is relatively inexperienced; the team are not familiar with his game and therefore don't know how to use him to their advantage. Their halves are not playing well so he doesn't get ball except in the last few minutes of that game when he created a try and nearly a second. I believe he has great potential and would fit in with the profile of player we want at WTs.

He wanted a top 30 contract and wasn't going to get game time. He got offered top 30 by Manly, so you can't really hold them back.

You used to hear about players being released for a better opportunity to make first grade when paths were blocked.
This was good for the player aswell as the club perception
Now all we hear is player x has signed and needs an early release

Don’t know why but I think KPP may be heading our way , just a gut feeling and if we nabbed DCE or Reynolds for a year that would make us very competitive and give Latu some great half coaching , KPP needs ball on the fly like Sam F last year , give them time to wind up and bust the first tackle attempt , I feel we will add min 3 players by end of season all first grade quality Richo knows we are close to a good side just needs a tweak , it will also help with reserve grade , Adam Elliot would also be a good get if right price at lock , more good players means stronger teams and players need to work hard to get a spot

I heard he was on $ 450 at Knights , could be wrong but 700 / 800 won’t happen , Richo won’t go that deep , he is pretty smart and with Galvins spare $ 1 million we could get 2 very solid players

7-800 is a certain starter

ZeroTackle states 600k.

NRL360 saying if Knights get rid of him that frees up a big chunk of cash. They mentioned 700-800.

I think 450 is way off.

We just need guys who can hold their own in defense and don’t get bullied at the ruck. We have enough classy guys.

Tyrone may is a bigger body and has a pretty good passing game…he’d be a depth low cost signing that would apply pressure to our bench players while keeping one of our best players happy.

Taylan may is a more legitimate starter at either centre or wing and again will keep one of our best players happy while maintaining our family values.

Plus a gun right edge forward and a veteran half to help mentor Latu and allow us to not rush his progress would be two key signings that will turn us into a legitimate top 8 side.

We definitely need a backup half.
We can't rely on AD to do that role.

Unless Sullivan is coming back (I don't think he will) ... we need an option.

Do we have Galvins money spare?
Richo said he had to manoeuvre other contracts and I thought he was saying some players would be moved on, to afford the salary for Lachlan.
