I would love to keep Galvin at the club next year, have said as much several times as I think he should be made an example of.

But it never happens. Ever.

Last I heard Bateman said he intends returning next year to see out his contract, but I can't see that happening.

Way more faith in the current admin, so probably unfair to go back that far. But it just feels like players (i.e., managers) always find a way.

I dont get all the chatter he wont be here after this season...Eels dont have a player we want a trade on i dont think and the money he is on next season is neglible so we dont need to cut him to save cap space. I dont think its worth it just to free up a top 30 spot, we have other players we could do that for.

I'd keep him as a backup half/utility and yes give latu more game time.
If Latu or Luai get injured, great to have galvin slot in and give good service

You make good logical sense. We need depth in the halves.
And why give Parra a leg up. That makes no sense.

galvin is costing 300k this year ? Latu costing 500k and cant even stsy on the field !

100 percent, I was and remain delighted.

Would have been a different story if he wasn't being dubbed a million dollar player and was just like any other 19 yo with potential, but that horse has bolted.
