Agree ... They keep stalling extending Saxton and trying to offload Mahoney..

Pretty obvious and poor form IMO as he has been talking him up for 12 months and as a Football Manager of a club it should not be allowed.

We don't need a prop, we need a lock and a second rower. Once we get those two, Twal and Seyfarth move back to the bench and prop/middle rotation.

Pole, May, Hunt, Sione, Twal, Seyfarth... That's 6 props for 4 positions in the 17.

Still need another big cannonball prop and Seyfarth goes back to reserve grade, the rest fight for their 1st grade positions for me.

I would like to see Big Nelson in the forwards as he cannot make the side in Melbourne this week and has plenty of size to wreak havoc on other teams instead of us. I would also like to see KPP and Taylan May added.
We have enough workers with Twal and May being long minute players we need some forwards that strike fear into the opposing packs and Hunt can do it in short stints, however no one else has that in the current team.

Our pathways are bad. So many players who are touted as the future end up anything but, and players who do show promise we can’t keep. 😞

I can only assume they rate Haywood more highly than TDS and the timing works better for a transition from Api to Haywood.
 
Does a point come where the club actually takes a look at itself and asks why it can’t hold on to their best juniors? At least with Moses, Tedesco and Woods, they stuck around a few years. Kids now are looking to get out as soon as their first contract is up. Re-signing kids at 18 and 19 should be a lay up. If you are getting told to pound sand by players that age, that’s a red flag. Especially when we supposedly have one of the best administrators in the country at the helm.

Other then Galvin which other junior is looking to leave? The club actually went on a re-signing spree the last couple of months & locked up a lot of critical juniors.
