OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The fact is, Luai’s post, Turuva’s post, and May having a go at Galvin when he was addressing the playing group handed Moses all he needed to get Galvin out of the club pronto. They handed it to Moses on a platter, and Moses has leveraged it to his and Galvin’s benefit via a disruptive bullying claim that they have no interest in pursuing as soon as Galvin is released. Luai, Turuva and May gave away our advantage/leverage in this situation. Realistically, getting rid of Galvin and getting a transfer fee back is the best we can hope for now.

I said on this forum many times during the offseason that Moses would be very confident of being able to get Galvin out of this contract whenever he wanted to, and lo and behold he’s done it again.
Add to that the tone of the press release and if you believe weidler (I know it’s hard too , if the club was the one leaking he thinks Benji can’t coach narrative ) would put them in strong position

Anyway best for club , can see the whole thing has been a distraction

I think he is going Parra , Parra don’t have players so they can only get transfer fee , dogs have players so would be player swap would be discussion

Also comes down I think to when he is being released. If this year would be Parra because if dogs it would destroy their harmony and they are on top of table and wouldn’t want to jeopardise it.
I think all roads lead to Parra unless the knights pull off another 1m plus 10 year contract

Player swap is very very unlikely.

Too hard with multiple player managers at play and very few players want to move mid season unless they’re not playing NRL.

We should be letting him go end of season. We already have top 30 spots to fill.

Well so much for Richo been the great saviour of the tigers , it now appears that we will get f***** over again and Galvin will walk and we will be left with nothing , show some balls tigers if we don’t get a player of our choice then drop him to nsw cup for the next year and 1/2 , I am sick of are club been used and abused bye other clubs

If this condition is true, then the bullying claim must have some strength to it or it could turn into an expensive exercise for the club to defend.

Anyway take today's news with a grain of salt as it would have come from Moses' camp as the WT has been very tightlipped since the board meeting. I would say once the WT communicated with Moses after the board meeting, then he would have been shooting off sms' to Read & co in the media.
100% this is all from Moses. It's always someone with knowledge speaking on condition of anonimity. Lol.

I am already trying to think of a "bullying" and "development" banner... happy to invest a bit of money to make it worth while... of a crying galvin on the ground with the boys standing over him, Isaac Moses and his mum and dad all standing around with him wearing nappies...

My hate (in a football sense) for this little cnt grows by the day.
He thinks a few instagram posts are bullying, what's he going to call our pack trying to snap him in half when we play him next. You know they're going to target the cretin.

If latu is able to stay fit and he gets a decent run of games this could save our season the vibes around the team will be much better now, latu is a way better fit for our attack it will be similar to how we attacked against Parra with bula now being able to attack both sides of the field with luai at the left side and latu at the right side but I would imagine them combing and going to each others sides more then luai and doueihi did in the parra game, our right edge defence will improve as well latu is a much better defender then Galvin, And also besides the kicking luai and latu are a near perfect fit together will sit back and straighten up the attack letting luai control the game and giving him some space
I'm hoping it's like Steph last year a blessing in disguise. Hoping after a few games in the halves he can find some consistency and fitness and show Galvin we never needed him.

Richo doesn’t and shouldn’t make decisions based on fan perceptions. That said, if LG is released early and the club walks away with nothing but a transfer fee and dropping of bullying legal action, fans would see it as a massive indignity. That would be Moses/Galvin 1, Wests Tigers 0.
The punters don’t care about transfer fees. It has zero impact on the wins / losses column. Unless it’s a player coming our way most fans would say pick him or drop him based on form but hold him to his contract. Fainu might be the future, but he’s certainly not yet the present and having a relatively cheap back up half for at least this year and a bargaining chip for 2026 would be handy.

If there is any truth to us being worried about the bullying case, there would have to be much more to it than just instagram posts.
You might be right vicious, after Gould was on 100% footy saying he knew what the problem is and its going to need to be sorted, either Gould I lying and playing media games or there is something else causing issues and I have a left field theory but we can only go off what we know atm.
