Now everyone turns on TDS haha. I think if he left it would be a mistake on his part. He has one of the best and most experience hookers in the game to learn off in Api who’s played Origin, internationals, multiple grand finals and over 200 NRL games. Tallyn has played pretty well so far for a 20 year old, however, there are some glaring deficiencies in his game mainly his defence but also discipline at times. This is probably in part due to his age and experience and there is hardly a better apprenticeship out there than under Api. All you have to do is look at Harry Grant. He was stuck behind Cameron Smith and the Cheese but learnt off them and bided his time. Now he’s arguably the best hooker in the game.
 
Who care man, I mean honestly all of these boys were signed on massive deals by Sheens to keep them at the club and it has hampered not only our cap but our recruitment options.
I’m taking culture over demanding local juniors.
All this talk of local juniors is great and all but it took Penrith 4 whole cycles of their junior talent to finally have the right mix.
How many ‘local’ juniors do the raiders have in and around first grade now. Look at how they are flying by finding the best young guns on the cusp of other clubs and developing them all together.
The bands breaking up; eh so be it. Api has extended his time after picking up 1 wooded spoon after wining a premiership the year before that should be rewarded for mine.

Not one club in the NRL is offering him a starting 9 position currently.

However, cast your mind back a few months ago when Bulldogs were rumoured to be shopping Reed Mahoney.
Could there be a package deal on the cards for Galvin + TDS.
Bulldogs might make the move to step on their current roster and upset the players to make this happen.

Hey I would take Reed Mahoney and he could play a Lock/Hooker role that would give Api a break.

Farah did play hooker into his 30's, it's possible, but Api has been through a bit. Honestly having Api around for 2 years I think would do the team wonders and keep people unified. Loosing him is not worth it.

Please don't wish Mahoney on us... He is the last person in the NRL I would want to support.

Not the worst idea, but he is due for renewal rather than being on a long term contract.

If he had a 5 year contract with us, that would be the play for sure.

breathe, there is both sense n stupidity in being a development club , take the emotion out of being a supporter . To be development takes a vast amount of time and know how ,is it really worth it ? Starting to think its a myth the way the kids think about themselves this day n age , so it just may be best to spend putting support around the top 20 /25 jobs for family education etc instead of handing out trinkets to the next gen. As soon as we are etched in the 8 ,we are just a rabble trying its best - patients is needed ,couldnt care less whether they do or not in my time ,i just want them to 1 day ,it all clicks into place and we become a power club, lol rant over sorry

We should line up the disgruntled outside of Richos office.

Thats what used to happen to us.

Then wed get the cane.

Until my dad found out and the school got scared.

From then on i only had to serve after-school detention.
