Fair point. You've gotta love Richo but as others have alluded, despite him making out that there have been more difficult assignments in the past, I think he has underestimated the difficulty of this one.
I wish him luck and hope it doesn't kill him, he's not a fit and healthy young man and I don't for one minute underestimate the toll this could be having on his health.
With new teams, players know it is going to be good for them.surely Benji would have sat TDS down last year and mapped out his progression , if the kid is getting above his station , move him on asap. Testing the market is due diligence . Probably just media speculation ,5 parts sensationalism 3 parts speculation with a pinch of truth
So what is the story with Toa, he seems to be constantly suffering one injury or another. He's a solid young right centre but imo Toa has demonstrated he has the pace and much improved defence to be our right centre.
The time off will be good for the team. I don't know the answers to your questions. So what is the story with Toa, he seems to be constantly suffering one injury or another.
What happened to him last week why did he come off and get replaced with Naden, was he injured again, why was Naden even selected on the bench, surely it wasn't to give Toa a rest?
Wish I could understand Benji's game plan, bench selection and use of the bench sometimes.
Bet he comes back from SOO call up wanting 700k next contract lol.
That sort of a sentence does not befit the crime. 🤣Are you suggesting he serves the remainder of his sentence at WT?
it will be a feeding frenzy for the managers , players ,media ,for all but the clubsWith new teams, players know it is going to be good for them.
One issue which is a constant, the best of the best young talent will always gravitate towards the powerful clubs. I am not sure how good Galvin will be, but he will go to one of them.it will be a feeding frenzy for the managers , players ,media ,for all but the clubs
Just how friendly. 🤣As you know, ive met Seyfarths mum at the pub once. Ticks all the boxes, most of all, a kind and friendly lady.
Does he immediately get accepted back by the NRL though given he was convicted but served the time?I think Manase will be out at the beginning of 2027 with parole. He'll only be 28.
It would not surprise me at all to see him start to be mentioned on the lips of a few NRL clubs heading towards the 2028 season, he'll only be 28/29 odd...
its going to be a very long hard slog for those 2 (until the pathways are humming) new teams unless they cook the books , which im sure the NRL would politely turn a blind eye fromWith new teams, players know it is going to be good for them.
The Wests Tigers is a complex machine, a lot of moving parts partial to needing continuous maintenance and repairs lol.The time off will be good for the team. I don't know the answers to your questions.
If we can get him for 600k sign the contract quickly,Barry Toohey (Newcastle's mouthpiece) reporting WT's offer to Kai Pearce-Paul is $600,000 a season.
very, very happy with that given what it costs for a premier backrower in today's market.
Old mate Packer was accepted back after stomping heads.Does he immediately get accepted back by the NRL though given he was convicted but served the time?
If TDS walks it will be for the same roll he is playing with us , second fiddle to a more experienced hooker, and if that is the case clearly he and his bum chum LG are filthy with the club for some reason. Think about it TDS second fiddle to Api ,not bad, and LG play along side a 4 time premiership winner ,no bad. both should have milked the experience nowing full well they are the future of the club with a big pay packets. And they could still hit the showers together. 😉There should be a pathway through this negotiation for both parties to be happy.
Api is, inevitably, going to start handing over minutes and Tallyn, who's not ready yet, should be starting to receive more minutes.
There is a world where the timing is right.
Api extends for 1 year in 27, to play 50/50 role.
Tallyn to take over starting during late 26/early 27.
Haywood to understudy Tallyn from 28.
In 2028, Tallyn will be 23 with, if he stays the course, an inside running on the starting hooking role at his junior club and the club he loves. He will also have another 2 years under one of the best hookers of the NRL era and will have the hooking role support of another quality up and comer in Haywood.
However, all the messaging out of the Tigers seems to point, already - for some reason, to TDS walking away. I can't for the life of me understand why.
