Player swaps sound logical, but it's not up to the club to make decisions about swapping players. The player needs to agree. If Tracey wants to leave because he has lost his spot, and the Dogs are willing to release him, he would go on the market and make his own decision about which club he'll move to.
I still can't think of an example of a simple 2 way swap... I'm sure it's happened, but from the sounds of it, we have agreed to a release...the Dogs don't need to tap anyone to make it happen...
ON a side note, the Dogs may just be taking over his current contract for this year. It may only impact their cap by 1/3 of Galvins 2025 salary...that's like 100k
