It may be a move by Richo to prepare for life without Bula, given Bula is managed by Isaac Moses. I believe Bula is under contract for 2026, but for 2027 either us or him have to activate an option in his contract for that additional year (if we activate it it costs more, if he activates it costs less - $100k difference from memory).

Mate, if Richo is that freaking negative that he is looking to sign players to prepare for “life after Bula” instead of resigning Bula as one of our star spine then he would not be a shadow on what I think he is as as CEO .. if we cannot manage to retain the stars of our team that actually want to be here then we may as well just pack it up now and become a pub team

No that is a potential figure only, showing signs of a good attacking fullback, but defense needs a lot of work.

Trouble is the new teams will be desperate for players and at the time if we have no other options we might be forced to pay it, hoping in the meantime he improves to warrant that figure.

let’s see what happens with the Broadcast deal which should be determined later this year …. They are expecting a 50 percent increase , so if that happens then the players wages will go up by the same amount most likely

Disagree, can't rush players for the sake of it. Need to have a long term view. Imagine we played him and he re-aggravated the injury. Everyone would be blowing up at Benji for rushing him.

Just look at how Turbo is playing after being rushed back for thousandth time.

If there is one place that will have a definitive timeline of where he is at a particular time, it will be a cop shop where he is conducting a formal interview… if it’s BS perhaps he should have been a bit more vague with his choice of excuse …

If hes dumb enough to participate in a formal interview with Police, we can well do without him.
