Mate, it was a generalised comment.
There certainly is cope involved in constantly finding reasons to slip the boot into someone who rejected you.
It’s been nearly two months of it.

How does the club fix it? Young players with greedy managers will always pry the talent away until there is a draft and a trade window.

Yes because I am specifically referencing the first part in my point about lessons learned,
We can’t control the way he behaved.
We need to cease dwelling on that and look at why we promoted and offered a massive contract to someone who showed bugger all indication he wanted to stay here.

Firstly we need someone in a role such as a Football Manager to constantly liaise with the players to keep an eye on the team harmony and get on top of any problems should they occur.
I have no idea who we currently have in this role, but it needs to be someone who is a great communicator and can connect with players of all backgrounds.
Tim Grant on our recent BTR episode was very impressive, I’m not certain what his current role is, but he would be perfect and fits the description I have described above.

We had hoped he would have a change of heart.

If he was leaving anyway, it doesnt matter if he rejected it.

No harm done.

Unusual sure, but not fatal.
 
That we spotted him in the first place was meritorious of us @Tucker

Then we signed him up.

Benji helps makes him hot property.

We did a good job.

Nothing to worry about our end.
