LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

is it a requirement that a warning needs to be given before a player is sinbinned for repeated infringements?

I am unaware of the history of the “mandatory “ sinbinning as articulated by the referee tonight …I did here another referee refer to it earlier this year
There’s no requirement but there’s certainly an implicit expectation that a team will be put on notice before a repeat infringement sin bin.

Again the culture of this club is always to settle for mediocre improvement after 3 spoons.
Look at the Dogs, spoon in 2021 then top 8 in 24 and lead comp in 25. Agressive recruitment starting at the top-Gould ,Ciraldo. What do we do, apprentice coach Marshall.
We are a chance of making the top 8 this year
Hindsight is a wonderful thing re ciraldo
Dogs had one spoon
We had 3 and a farce of a back-office
So not comparable at all

Are you for real. Dogs board was bigger basket case than ours. We just take forever to make decisions. Its usually a last resort thing rather planning for change. Just klike giving Benji the job. Never planned , just happened.

I must agree with MTD here....Ive never seen a binning like Luais before without a warning....its usually 3 penalties or 6 to goes and then a warning and then bin.

Dont have to watch other games as closely as ours, when its a binning its usually replayed a few times

But even if we are getting stiffed by the refs then its even more important we are more discipined than other teams

The Turuva getting taken out going for the bomb try to them was just fkn disgraceful, a howler yet not a peep from the commentators

No, and we usually get the rough end of the pineapple, but we should be organised and not continually offend. Most teams cope with the 6 again call by either repelling the opposition or conceding a try. We just kept doing it over and over.
And we lost, but good teams usually find a way to win. We played some good touch footy when the shackles were off.
Much better, so do we start that way next week, running the ball from the kick off, or do we go back to structured footy, which were pretty rubbish at.
Whaddya mean Hal
Sheensys old you score 32 well score 28 brand of footy?

I think in RL you still need to earn the right to play that way, ie: forwards winning the contest

I wonder how much their origin blokes were feeling the pinch at the end

For the WT ? Forgot Douehi was in squad.

I was thinking that as well . If so then luai only has himself to blame .. to be fair it’s the only thing that makes any real sense . Because what happened on the field didn’t .
I question that considering what benji said about the two sin bins. If the ref had warned the players he would have said so or at least cop it sweet.

Taken a while to gather my thoughts - 2 senior leaders where binned, like it or love it Luai should not have been pushing it like he was - worries me that these are the people leading some of the younger ones.
We need Taylan May so hope the signing comes off. Douhiei I admire his resilience and he is committed but we just lack the attack on his side - imagine Toa and May both firing in the centres.
Impressed by Mason - he and Latu will be a good battle for the 6 - Mason a good option for 14 if he doesn’t get the 6.
I’d drop Jack Bird - his attitude sucks, he always pushes the boundaries too far and just niggles - as a signing he hasn’t come off.
Bula is having a season - gone to next level.
