It's a great question.

We need an experienced Centre. Not a superstar. Just someone adequate who isn't going to get bashed up every week like Douehi is atm. We need the 2026 Whatuira. Must have played more than 80 games and contributed to either 1 top 4 campaign or a couple of top 8 campaigns in the last 4 seasons. The Royce Hunt of Centres. Pay overs for it.
 
The players we should be interested in aren't those off contract but those forced out of clubs due to salary cap constraints, like KPP. There are good players at both the Broncos and the Knights we could or are targeting.

Jo Jo Fifita and Deine Mariner are two centres I would want at WTs. Fifita belted both Blore and Munster on the weekend as well as palming off Howarth to set up a try under the posts. He is big, strong, quick and aggressive in defence.

Hiroti from the sharkies. Can’t crack a starting spot in centres bc they’re backline is so stacked. Speedy young reliable. off contract this year. Could be a nice filler until Makasini is first grade ready.

Don't mind this to bring some experience, speed & goal kicking (in place of AD) until Makasini or others unseat him. His defence is quite good generally just had a couple of bad moments against us.
 
Imo it's forwards we need

I would be happy to fill the backs with what we have at the club swapping Naden for Makasini and re-sign Doeuhi, Staines.

Would leave 1 spot in the backs too see what is needed or who performs like Mapapalangi

What I would like is 3 forwards added
