Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

What do you identify with? Let's start from there. Good point.
Work rate is the non negotiable. No point signing someone if they can't give you more than 10 quality minutes. Next they need to be physical on at least one side of the ball (ideally both but that is pretty rare). Either needs to win the contact when tackling or break tackles and/or offload when running. Finally, coachability. Need to be smart enough to take in and implement instructions and dedicated enough to work on their weaknesses.
Edit: I'll add for outside backs I'd ask what physical asset do they have that is better than 85% of other outside backs. Speed, Power, foot work, Aerial ability, repeated efforts for dirty hit ups, they need something that differentiates them from their competition.

He's already been spoken about enough but KPP and David Fifita are the best forwards able to be signed tomorrow.
There's a few more a bit cheaper that I think is better than we have but not going to really change our fortunes such as Billy Burns, Lazarus Vaalepu, Josh Kerr.
Players available Nov 1st we should making plans to target: Zac Hosking, Harry Hayes, the Puru brothers, Conelley Lemuelu, Phil Sami, Thomas Cant, Kaiden Lahrs, Charlie Guymer, Liam Henry, Lachie Hubner, Fletcher Meyers, Naf Whyte, Siua Wong
The biggest name available Nov 1st, but I don't see how you convince him to join, is Kaloamatangi.
No idea about what players are signed long term whom might be unhappy at their current club.
I think to really turn the club around we don't just need at least 2 quality experienced forwards but probably another 2 or 3 up and comer that you probably need to pay overs for (for where they are in their careers). At the start of the year I suggested Dylan Egan and Blake Steep. I think they would have felt they should have been playing first grade last year. I haven't watched much ressies this year to identify that type of player who is yet to get their crack this year.
Some very good suggestions there gregjm87.
I have a feeling the Raiders would not stand in the way of Zac Hosking departing at the end of this year as they have a few emerging edge back rowers ready to take his place.
He would be a decent 3rd choice back row signing if we don’t get or don’t want KPP or David Fifita.
I keep mentioning Fifita as a player like him at close to his best could really be the x-factor we need and I just get the feeling the slap in the face of being unwanted by the Titans could motivate him to get fit and get back to his best.

"I'm a Tiger, just focusing on getting results for this club at the moment and hopefully for seasons to come."

And then he could do whatever he likes behind the cameras.

SMH - it's simple.

Do players still get media training?
How do you know he didn't also say that and they just chose not to show it?

They show what is going to create a stir.. and they got ya, hook line and sinker

Learn to read next time.
I want less drama and aren’t looking for it.

I have zero issues if he left & he deserves a great pay packet to end his career but his comments and timing of them is wrong for our captain.
Your making something out nothing..
So I'm sorry mate you're create a drama.
