not parramatta he was in talks with St GeorgeI was just contributing to the general discussion about wt and of course Brooks.
It was called “brooksywatch” and he’s been a dick so people might want to know.
A few people were interested and we learned that he was in talks with Parra.
Brooksy halted the Tigers progress by taking elite salary and not being able to win.I like Luke and hold no grudges. I feel sorry him that the tigers halted his development.
He is a good lad.
Brooks moved on years ago. I am not sure what the fixation is with him. We owe him nothing and he owes us the same. His manager is the same as Galvin, many of the Manly team and Seibold. He will not rock the boat and his comment was innocuous. Time to move on.Good question, that would make sense.
We don’t owe Brooksy anything. He was on a good wicket, king of the kids and sadly he couldn’t reach his potential.
And he left with grace and we personally congratulated him on the finals berth ( unheard of!)
Then he turns about and supports us getting shafted.
Nothing personal, but his legacy has fallen significantly in my estimation.
Poorly advised!
Garner had nothing but kind words about us when he left. Very pleasant and professional.

We’ve moved on, but he’s still a figure of interest or people wouldn’t comment.Brooks moved on years ago. I am not sure what the fixation is with him. We owe him nothing and he owes us the same. Paws what is the go with you and Brooks ? Every other topic you are insightful and knowledgeable and balanced but every single time brooks is mentioned you always take the bait and rush in to defend him like he is a family member or something. All good I suppose mate, you are entitled to and you are just contributing to the debate but it just makes me wonder why you are such a big supporter and defender of him?Brooks moved on years ago. Brooks is a Sea Eagle and my post below did not defend him, far from it.Paws what is the go with you and Brooks ? Every other topic you are insightful and knowledgeable and balanced but every single time brooks is mentioned you are always take the bait and rich on to defend him like he is a family member or something. Why dont you post the article so we can all see the context to it as opposed to just your viewpoint? To lend a point to @TigerNeddyK, I guess there is an argument that:
1. Brooksy is making a comment from a supposed position of experience or authority ( aged 19 wonderboy).
2. His actual career beyond that date was quite ordinary and essentially was a torturous choke-fest.
3. He left because we told him we weren’t going to pay overs for a factory half who is getting worse instead of better.
4. And from his position of alleged synergies between him and Bratfink, he supports Bratfink.
Ultimately, for anyone who has an understanding of Luke’s disappointing career, his support of Bratfink is not very helpful to Bratfink. It’s an accolade you wouldn’t actually want.
But of course, the myth that Brooksy is a gun half, continues on via the Satan (IM) machine.
So that’s one way to see it.
I assume that it relates to Batfink, a cartoon character that I first watched as a toddler or preschooler in the late 1960's.Can someone tell me where the name bratfink came from? It sounds very stupid.
Only one bloke had an issue with it and made his feelings clear. The rest saw it for what it was.Brooks moved on years ago. I am not sure what the fixation is with him. We owe him nothing and he owes us the same. His manager is the same as Galvin, many of the Manly team and Seibold. He will not rock the boat and his comment was innocuous. Time to move on.
And what is the connection to Galvin?I assume that it relates to Batfink, a cartoon character that I first watched as a toddler or preschooler in the late 1960's.
No idea, as I only related it to your question. And what is the connection to Galvin?
Agree . You can’t ask for that money without hitting those expectations .its one of those things though . If this was American sports we would have traded Brooks just after he won the dally m .Brooksy halted the Tigers progress by taking elite salary and not being able to win.
