By Broncs signing Reynolds? Thats actually the outcome he may have been angling for. They were delaying and lowballing for weeks. Now they will be forced to make a call.

I think he’d be worth a look for the rest of this season as a back up centre/back row option.
He has a fair bit of NRL experience when he was at the Bulldogs a few years back, he’s a strong ball runner who regularly makes his 150 plus metres per game and not afraid to do the hard hit ups out of his own end.

No not really, I thought he and Sexton combined pretty well tbh. Second game in with the comp leading team, you’d be happy to play second fiddle to the half who had taken them there, at least for a while.

I wasnt keen on the Reynolds signing but that is hardly crazy money for a half in today's market.

Alternatively see if bears interest in sexton and put forward a 1 yr option and then send him to Perth.
Other than that I don’t think there’s any regular starting halves available

The Sullivan contract situation should be very high up on the priorities list, if not at the top, as whether he is at WT or not affects other decisions.

Good call. I think he suits the modern backrower archetype now as utility value to cover at centre. I'm surprised Manly hasn't given him greater NRL opportunities and he's been around a few clubs now, makes you wonder but his numbers are certainly impressive.

I've dangled out there Jonah Pezet now a couple of times with no bites from the forum. I think he could be quite gettable if the mail is correct that Jahrome Hughes will extend.

He would be the most NRL ready of all the emerging halves who are not already NRL regulars.
I would take him in a heartbeat at the right price, I just don’t see us as an ideal destination club for him, but you never know.

Stats indicate Deine Mariner has gone back to play Qld Cup and proven his class averaging well above 150m gained and plenty of tackle breaks.
With Grant Anderson supposedly joining the Broncos next season, it clearly looks like Mariner is on the outter as long as Madge is in charge,
He’s clearly NRL quality and adds speed we are lacking.

Would love to have Pezet. Looked good in his limited first grade experience. Has certainly served his apprenticeship. Where does he fit though? He’ll want a clear path to first grade.

No I don’t think Makasini will be ready until either late next year, if not 2027.
A Taylan May/To’a centres combination looks pretty decent if they are both at their best, but for me there are too many question marks on them both to solely rely on them to get the job done.
Considering we shouldn’t have to pay Taylan May too much for 2026, it should leave some cap space for another good quality outside back.
