But I would imagine that the integrity of the game, particularly when media outlets are happy to jump on the critique of loopholes and bring negative press from that angle, would be enough of an incentive to tidy it all up.
If the NRL were smart they would get onto it pronto. There are way more young kids playing AFL and soccer these days. This next generation are probably going to want to watch AFL and soccer as well. Combined with issues with head knocks, the NRL could find competition for viewership increases massively in a very short period of time. The NRL should try to get and keep a very level playing field ASAP IMO.
