Really hate the lack of speed in the backline. When the centres get it it is always 2 on 2 with the defence easily covering them. May needs to take Dougie spot in next few weeks. Bula needs to attack more around the ruck. It's not working.

Yeah but who’s a good coach who’s available? Walters is shit, so is Barrett and Griffin (no idea where he is though) there’s a lot of shit coaches out there and none of them are getting us finals bound. The best one available is probably BA but even he is a risk. Not to mention we’re gonna be labelled a basket case again no matter how we try to spin it. Clubs gotta make a choice but I don’t think a quality coach will be available to replace Benji.

Not really. Game was tight as, and with it all on the line a decision was made to keep our best player and Captain on the field instead of giving him a rest for a kid. I actually thought it showed some coaching maturity to make interchange decisions reacting to the match situation instead of pre-planned times

But that didn’t happen.
Api was stuffed. His contribution was low. TDS would have had impact. Had he been reacting to the match situation, then that change provides a big chance to win the game.

I’m assuming you mean Hannay and if so the bloke has been an assistant coach for years but you can’t give him his first official head coach job with us. The job has to go to someone who’s been an NRL head coach before, not give it to someone who’s not been one yet. Trouble is though there’s no real good ones available.

Benji has no man management skills and considering what’s been happening with Talyn’s contract negotiations he could have and should have got off his backside, took five steps to his left and had a chat with Talyn, maybe give the kid a bit of encouragement and reassurance since he wasn’t going to put him on the field.
He is too arrogant and we will not progress to a top 8 team unless he changes his ways and that’s very unlikely.

He is not doing well.
23 and 24 were crap in part because Benji was largely clueless.
25 is crap because he is making lots of mistakes and poor decisions.

Game played out how most expected it. The reality is Canberra currently is better performing team than us as the ladder shows.
We competed again but the weaknesses in the squad are exposed by other teams. We all know them - so does our opposition.
It was a decent performance but again get zero for effort.

Maybe you should ask, have any of the players that have left Benji, improved at other clubs? I can think of a few without trying. Brooks, Stef and Liddle.

Seems that TDS has likely played his last game at the club …Hope we aren’t regretting that one a couple a years down the track…

Galvin reportably didn't like the relationship Luai & Benji had formed.... by all reports there has always been a real desire from Luai to play with Latu in the halves.

We played really well in the 2nd half and are doing well with what we have...
