Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

cant agree no matter how certain you are. Addo carr is handy but no more or no less handy then skelton or turuva. For the last 5 years we have been absolutely horrendous at yardage from our back 5. That is what we badly needed and that is what we went our and got. Addo car does not make our team better IMO. He is average at best doing the hard yards. Skleton and turva have been huge in that frame.

Out of curiosity what makes him better. Ill give you speed but what else

Experience, Footy IQ, Defence....
Skelton hasn't played anywhere near enough games to be compared to Addo Carr - And if we're going off their last outings, I'd suggest Skelton has a long, long way to go.
So would their last coaches you'd assume.

Turuva - who's played a few more games
- His kick return cartage is exaggerated here, But his defence is ordinary.
Addo Carrs communication in Defence isn't spoken on (Ever)
Maybe because he's so fast that's all anyone thinks he has to offer?
Turuva is a good finisher, Addo Carr can create something out of nothing,
I've not seen Turuva do the same.

happy to give you the experience thing and yeah id say addo carr is better then skelton right now. Future remains to be seen.

As for Turuva they have similar stats across the board, including defence.

and ill concede that includes yardage returns. i guess the big question is was addo carr ever available for us because if not its irrelevant

Jahream Bula is set to miss 4 weeks of action due to a hamstring injury. Bula pulled up sore chasing a Jarome Luai grubber on the final play against Canberra.

Heath Mason is expected to return to fullback, with Latu Fainu likely to partner Luai in the halves
