Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Galvin will have success from team achievements if he doesn't rock the boat and moves to another club.

But from an individual perspective I think he won't be a standout, not enough pace or power at the moment unless he can put on 10kg of muscle to me he looks to be a link man, a good team player.

If he wants to look the part, he needs to change that dopey haircut, cringe.
He still looks like a kid, a bit like Crighton did at that age. As he fills into his body he’ll be a handful for defenses.

Benji makes no secret how much he loves Api…. I’ve heard him say several times that he is the best player in the side …maybe TDS feels he won’t get a fair go … I mean that might not necessarily be the case but thats he way he feels? He knows better than us though , so I guess he will make the call that he believes is best for him

I also suspect money is an issue as well….if he goes and becomes the No 1 somewhere else , he is going to earn more money than being the No 2 here ..
Yeah it's not about now though. It's for the 2027 season and I think we are better off going with Tallyn and offering a bench role for Api even though he won't take it.

We won't win the premiership in next two years so.

We are not in a position to write off this year and next. It’s about winning now so those future years aren’t ruined by more lack of success.

Some of these guys are in their mid 20s…

I’m talking about young guys who aren’t regular first graders yet … what about Large for instance ? Left the club because he thought he couldn’t get a go behind Galvin … lol
Large had form, mate. He'd already left the club once to go to the Roosters. Sheens got him back. He has never had any loyalty to any club.

I listened to the WT Faithful mob last night …, they say that the reason for the red zone woes are that there aren’t enough forward threats … guys that are going to bust a tackle and score .. Pole might be the only one … maybe Sione … but like they said .. you need all your forwards to have this ability ( see Canberra )

It’s probablly a combination of this and another center to take ADs spot that can put some fear into the opposition…

Need Toa to re-up … things seem quiet there … hoping that’s a good sign
Would like to see Sione and Pole get ball close to the line rather than this obsession of constantly trying to get Twal's 3rd career try.

I called this two months ago. He was spotted having a coffee with Gus. This was even before Galvin gate blew up. Obviously Gus has had this all planned for sometime.

Of course we will roll over once again and let him swan out the door with F all compensation. It is getting harder and harder to ride the Weststigers emotional roll a coaster
That cannot be possible because Gus will swear that he has never met him even though he will vouch for him as being an outstanding young man.

Plus the players have taken responsibility for their form

What a great time for Manly to be playing at home and looking to reignite their season against the team that always plays poor teams back to exceptional form

Even if that form only lasts one week
We can't win games when we are playing well. We can't win games when the other team is playing bad and/or complacent. I've given up hope
