This year was always going to be a roller coaster . Like I said the club has fallen in a hole with the Galvin betrayal , orchestrated by the dogs , and Moses . It’s disgusting and should be serious penalties . But the nrl has decided the 2 teams this year that will get the free ride are Canberra and the dogs … so here we are .
But I’m sick of the bitching and moaning . The team is right there . It’s clear as day . They’re competing with the top teams and every one loses to manly in manly . The last minute withdrawal of luai meant that it was makeshift and hap hazard .
Whoever inherits this off Benji , will get a team that will win footy games . Benji is like the Brett Brown of wests tigers . Overseeing the shit so some name with pedigree will come in and inherit a footy team .
The club didn’t develop a single talent for 10 years and under Pascoe watch went out and perpetually put together teams that could compete for 8th , but that was about it. So they can save face and keep thier jobs . This regime torpedoed the playing roster and now are waiting for the green shoots to flourish .
I dunno if Benji has the juice to get them over the hill . I do know the club and players want him there , and he’s valued .

I said many times i agree about Benji , but the stuff being said last night was garbage IMO.
So im calling out the guys who had the audacity to question people’s manliness , by doing exactly what you did last night to yourself .

First of all, calling out people after a loss isn’t going to be productive. Especially when it’s a sixth straight loss. Emotion’s are flowing, people say all kinds of wacky stuff. People will claim the club should fold, they are walking away for good. Not really a good time to police opinions.

I couldn’t care less about homosexuality . Many of my close friends are gay and great people .
I’m not out here questioning the clubs manhood… I’m throwing back in your face .

So what is the implication that Tucker and I were a couple? Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t offended, just sort of turned a side eye as if to say “really?”

And what is this about manhood, cos I called the club soft? You know who has called them that and I’m sure would back me up? @innsaneink

The club has a soft underbelly, it always has. It always rolls over. Whether that’s on the field or off it. Look at the way other clubs walk over us when it comes to dealing with contracts. And again, questioning my manhood in response. Another side eye. Whatever you need to cope I guess.

They played tough . The other team was more professional and seasoned . That win was an old man’s win for the sea eagles . Too many kids in the team .

You can’t say they played tough last night. The quality of that game was mud.

And the Galvin stuff by the way is true , which is ironic because if you actually watch the styles we play you can see where the issues are . We’ve had to redesign the whole attack and no one knows where they’re supposed to be anymore , because the previous attack was soo unique and built around one 19 year olds game .
But nah the club is soft the players are weak and pea hearts ? Spare me .

Seriously ? And you spent hours last night talking about people being soft …. This is my point . If you don’t get it because you can’t handle criticism … maybe select the type of criticism you chose to dish out .

Man I just want to come top 12 . We can build on that . I haven’t forgotten how bad the last 2 teams were . So I keep it in the back of my head , because when we are losing by 4 to the best team in the comp and the 4 time champs week after week , it would be unfair . Thats not defeatist or lacking the pursuit of excellence but rather , a clear understanding of where the club is at .
For me last night I thought the game changed when Seyfarth came on . He needs a spell in reserve grade . He gave away a couple of penalties at crucial times that allowed manly to get ascendancy when the grind was on. At the very least it lacked discipline . I thought when the attrition was on we were slightly gaining the ascendancy in a poor game of footy .
When he gave away those penalties , it allowed Sutton to get involved and influence the game , and manly were allowed to to execute in good field position .
He broke mentally . And I was always his biggest advocate . But man that was a game to be won in the mind last night . And guys like him don’t have the concentration or trust in his teammates to play like that . I would have been happy to win 2 nil .

I was one of the ones scratching my head as to what's going on. But if you want me to feel sorry for benji building a team around loyd Christmas. Well my answer is nah ! No Pitty from me or patients. I lost my patients 10 years ago.
