We will get nothing. NRL isn’t a trade comp.
This isn’t a pinnacle sport like NBA, Soccer etc
It’s a sport run by the RLPA and player managers.

All we get is lack of depth, roster spot and cash.

I wish we had people at the club thinking outside the square like you, but realistically we haven't replaced any of what we lost this year and the board seem just happy to be in the NRL.

I believe he knocked back approaches from NRL clubs when he last extended. But definitely worth trying again based on his reputation (can't say I've personally watched more than a couple of his games).

Why would we want anyone that can break tackles, make line breaks, offload and potentially win us the tight games we always seem to lose.

What are people expecting here

The Raiders have 3 wingers and 3 centers signed to their top 30 and IMHO I think that's a better way to go. Just make sure your 2x starting Centers are starters and your wings are good!

Free your cap to spend on your top 17. Don't go hiring lots of depth which really only soaks up cap space and positions.

He is the best available.

I rate Latu but the kid needs time & Luai needs an origanizer. Add to that Benji views Latu more than a half & isn’t confident just yet in him (why make a multi year offer to Reynolds) so think Sexton could be of value to us.

We could do alot worse.

I see he signed a six year contract with Wigan. It appears they want to keep him.
