I tell ya man .. it’s much more through good luck rather than good management that they aren’t stuck paying Galvin a million a year over the next 5 years or whatever the deal was…

So if people trying to find something to hold onto … there is that at least
 
June 30 who we signing ?
And does anyone think we will hear from Richo this week ?
He wants everyone to sign up and become members, attend the games, buy the merchandise and decides to play home games at ComBank for the corporate dollar, all to go towards paying his huge salary, but goes missing in times of need ?

that’s so true , hindsight is easy but seriously if we lost latu & his brothers i would’ve been so much more disappointed. I’m glad the club shot itself in the foot with that one
 
Serious question, are we the worst run club in the history of professional sport? Must be close! haha

We have released Sullivan (although possibly coming back), Bateman, Klemmer, I Papalii, Galvin and Da Silva whilst signing noone to replace them and wonder why we stink as a club?

Cant make this stuff up.

Whilst most are happy to see the back of them they all would have provided us something and at least some better depth. To replace them with noone is completely destroying your own season.

Dose anyone thinks Melbourne retains all of their talent after 3 spoons in a row. Successful clubs can stockpile talent because they are successful.

It's a harsh reality but it's true, until we win consistently get used to them walking out the door ......

And unfortunately the only way to do that is to load up on experience. Build the most experienced top side that you can that can hold their own when your bringing in lesser talents and rookies in to do a job when your suffering injuries. That will filter down.
