He doesn’t have the contacts and ins that he’s used to have . Also he stayed right to the end of RLW and by that stage it had zero gravitas in the nrl zeitgeist . Plus the public no longer had a thirst for ethical journalism .
It’s all click bait and bullshit now .
Even Chammas writes some pretty good articles , and his editor releases a click bait bullshit headline , that IMO undermines a lot of what he’s trying to say , to a point it borderline misrepresents the tone of the article .
I think the mole because he was so late to the party with this gutter journalism , guys like buzz and Weidler have thrived in , he’s never adapted . And when he does muck rake it’s so obvious , and lacking in nuance , all he does is undermine his own journalistic integrity .
Say what you will , but I think there’s an art to the muckrakers like buzz and Weidler . Somehow they come out smelling like roses even though they spend their life playing in shit .

Tigers just need to split wins/losses until the Bulldogs game.

That's the big one for the club. And zero reason not to be up for it.

Then they have the bye & 4 games that I consider winnable given the style of teams play & the timing of the season. Beat the Roosters, the Titans & either than Panthers (close last time) or the Warriors (tougher, but Metcalfe gone)...head into the Dogs...bye...the comp is very close still.

They are 5-11 …so they don’t go win loss

I would sign up for three wins now rest of the season … that should avoid the spoon if they don’t completely blow the for and against

How the club finishes the season is important. Wooden spoon or not, it's about winning.

Bula should be back in a couple of weeks & Luai available too.

2 x Titans
1 x Cowboys
1 x bye

Plus, the Roosters understrength, Canberra 2 weeks out from the finals, Warriors in NZ without Metcalfe & the Panthers, Manly (who regardless of last week, are awful)

Then there is the Bulldogs- which I think we will be up for.

If we can beat the Roosters this week & jag either the Warriors or Panthers...we could add 10-14 points to our total.

Is it likely? No.

Possible? Yes.

I think it's an important statement for the club to finish well.

if we are full strength we’ll jag a few more wins. if luai played in the manly game we possibly could’ve won that

I hope his contract has some get out clauses in WT favour.
Eg. min. 20 min. a game, fitness targets etc. or on your bike buddy?

We will see how it plays out … they need a few wins and avoid the spoon IMO or there will be no cut through in the media that they have improved on the field..

If the players want to help Benji they really need to lift … I don’t know what happened last week … they weren’t interested and won’t beat anybody if they play like that… we have seen this before the last few years over the back third of the season… so that performance last week had definitely better be a one off …
