You saying he’s too good for Flegg, yet he played Ball in 2025.
If he’s not too good for Ball, then he’s not “too good for Flegg”

Did you even watch these kids play ? Brookes , Tannous and I think the centres , were the standouts in that team . But the drop off from 1-17 and through the squad was sharp . One of the issues with Balmain being region locked .
The magpies were a huge disappointment considering the pedigree of that team .

Didnt he play for the Magpies? Few people who watch regularly said he didnt exactly dominate
we lost Isdale and Large over the preseason and it showed. the halves we had just didn't possess the IQ or intelligence to get Makasini the ball in the right places. quite often it was premeditated, or it was so obvious that opposition edges would double team him.

there were plenty of reports out of first grade preseason that he was giving his opposites a bath in the first block, namely one Starford To'a.

I think you'll get a bit of everything from Masi on the weekend. some flashes of brilliance, some devastating carries, but he might get rocked in contact here or there and make a poor read or drop a ball. he was always going to go straight into Cup once GPS wrapped up, the question now is how long he stays there.

And there will be probably scouts from every other NRL club and possibly the ARU watching his debut. Apparently WTs can't develop talent but our talent identification and recruitment team keep producing good young players.

I wonder who are the better development coaches out there that can help progress identified players from that key 18-19yo age into NRL footballers. Any suggestions out there? We should start a WT Forum GoFundMe to employ them lol

I'd keep all of our junior talent identification, recruitment, retention and development staff and lift the entire Storm network. We have a huge junior development area and the Storm staff would complement the excellent work and local knowledge of our WTs' staff😁.

can you blame them we give them up for nothing lol.

young Hopoate who's been ripping up the ASSRL 15s is already being sized up for a release with nothing in return to build the war chest in 2034.

What’s the step up from GPS to cup like, comparatively to ball or flegg?
