Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So according to Danny noodle hair Wielder, Tallyn would’ve been open to staying if we had set out a succession plan for him about taking over from api in minutes from in the later years of Api’s new contract.

Take it with a grain of salt bc the club doesn’t like DW, but if we didn’t do that for Tallyn it may of been that we genuinely didn’t want to keep him. Maybe the club didn’t have the big wraps on him that we all thought and that’s why we just let him go?

To me it seems like we were keen on getting rid of the excess Galvin stench. Don’t be surprised if Kit & Luke are next

His manager said

“It’s ultimately up to the Tigers to determine their course of action, but if Api stays, it’s likely that Tallyn will have to seek opportunities elsewhere.”

Do you think he would improve our NRL team or do you mean sign him as a depth player ?
Is he a better player than Sukkar or Sol Saukuru ?
He’s probably got a better work rate and a more reliable defender than them, but he’s a lightweight edge forward and I believe Sukkar and Saukuru have much more impact when running the ball due to their extra size.
Saukuru in particular has the size, power, mobility and potential to trouble the very best of defences, his issue is his lack of fitness which can be fixed in an offseason if the desire is there.
It’s much harder for a player such as Hassett to become bigger and more explosive when running the ball, however he’s a solid worker and still only young, so we could do much worse than him as a depth signing.
Sukkar needs this off season to work on his strength and agility, Saukuru needs work on his speed and conditioning and should progress after a season exposed to KOE cup. Harrison is a footballer lives and breathes it as stated can cover 2 positions which is what we currently need.

And purchased a younger prop from the Titans as his replacement.

ok ..

Just because they would rather spend the $400k elsewhere doesn’t mean he can’t be of use to us instead of him going over to Super League…Richo should definitely be in on it for a year …

The funny thing is, I predict if they did sign him you would be all over it

May, Pole and Fainu are a young rotation but are getting valuable experience. The addition of a young prop to learn from the three to me is a better fit than an ex-Storm player

the whole douehi benji situation is straight out of Moses’ “I’m going to leak stories and make the coach the scapegoat to get him sacked like I tried to do with Moses, Teddy, Woods, Galvin” playbook

give it a month and Bula will be next

It’s funny coz Kreepy Krawley was trying to make out it was someone internally at the club ( player/offical ) leaking tne story to destabilise Benji …lol

Lol people are seeing right through the moses bs these days no matter how jurnos try to twist it. his ultimate goal has always been to destabilise the club. in order to get back at benji, get one of his own coaches hired and get all his crap players in

He was a solid worker, always put in a big effort but has some defensive frailties. Nothing outstanding about his game, just a lot of heart & effort.

I had him behind Haywood, Brookes, Tauiafaiga, Tannous, Van Drie, Cohen Benson, Will Stone & the winger Partch out of the Balmain players in SG Ball this season. Just my opinion.
BWG - What has happened to Van Drie?
He was a standout in the early games I watched. Not big, but fast and a goer!
