It is established that we lack depth, and our left centre will play flag at best from now on. The good thing is that we won the game without our three best players.
Our best were AD, L. Fainu and Pole.

He is injury prone . But geez he’s tough . Looked like he copped a burner , and a cork . 2 playable injuries .. sure , but man not many hurt more .

We've got another good halves pairing and the timing is just outrageous for Doueihi to head off to another club. With the shortage of halves and his outstanding kicking game, it's going to be bucks up for Doueihi. Expect a call from Gus (for this season) to solve their halves problem. No Gus we don't take trade ins.

This was huge, 6 straight losses, 3 spine players missing, coach and club in the media about the coach possibly being punted and fighting with players at training. That's a team who believes in and respects the coach. Whether we think Benji is the right coach or not, the players seem to think he is. Great win. Enjoy a night after a win all, something that have been few and far apart.

Tristan Hope was great. He played better than Da Silva ever did. Good stop-gap while we wait for Haywood to develop.

Kudos to Tony Sukkar playing 80 minutes. Benji sending him on a suicide mission but he survived.
Hope had a lot more time but was much better than TDS in that time I reckon.
No Mason, we are much better. Now, time to drop the Seybarge and we are a chance of winning more games.

I think that needs to be our forward rotation from now on. Possibly Hunt in for Kit and obviously Api starts and Hope back to the bench to replace Murray.
Some freakish efforts from Marky Mark and some piss poor defense from Skelton and Luke almost cost us. Luke shouldn’t see first grade again this year and Skelton needs a rocket because Staines killed it and there is a few players in Cup who are breathing down his neck.

They had all the energy and all the momentum, his slow play the balls didn’t help. I’d rather he not carry on so much when he’s hurt.
