How bloody long did they get to challenge that, as it seemed to be a long time?

On Fox even the commentators questioned it and said that surely the time was well and truly over for a challenge.

The big thing to take out of this game is the young players. A lot of those Roosters players are very young but highly regarded juniors. They couldn’t get it done versus the three times wooden spooners missing 3/4 of their spine. It just shows how big the step up to NRL is. We need to remember this when judging our own youngsters. And hopefully when the club gets stronger we can develop and promote them at the appropriate rate instead of rushing them straight into first grade.

That’s a great point mate. A few of our blokes are now into year 2-3 and got the better of the rookie Roosters. Patience with kids is needed.

I’m not complaining but I do question Robinson’s intelligence. Clear size mismatch between Tupou and Staines. Why would you keep going to the air?

We haven't lost much with TDS going early. Hope did and excellent job and Charlie wasn't too bad in the abckup role either. Neither are outstanding but with an off season to buikd up again I think they could be great backups.

AD had some good touches but he really is KoE standard - too many silly errors and his general kicking game is below average. As a 5/8th he makes a great prop.

K&L Lualilii were out of their depth - but Luke also out of position - I think they are worth perservering with in cup to see if they can crack it as they get older.

We might see another centre combination next week - Toa was busted - not sure he will be able to recover in time for the Wahs.

A strike edge player to compliment Sam F and a good 13 we go from bog average to competitive.

Doueihi is no centre. He's honestly not really first grade starter quality in any position but he might have the most utility value of any player in the game.

AD did play very well today , last time i saw that was 5 years ago

Doueihi is no centre. He's honestly not really first grade starter quality in any position but he might have the most utility value of any player in the game.

He had a good day but there were still some poor moments, the pass over the sideline, the early tackle drop in attack, the failure to set up for a FG.

I gave him an honourable mention in the 321 but we need consistency in our leaders.

I'm not down on him, I'm simply satimg that he is not a FG level 6 despite what some seem to think after today's effort. He kicked a few goals and got us home and had a couple of good touches sure. But his general play kicking was not up to speed and his lack of organisation (two consecutive FG opportunities) could have cost us dearly.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the win but some seem to think based on today he is a keeper. I simply disagree with this assessment. If we want to be a top 4 ckub AD needs to be plying his trade for one of the 13/14 clubs below us.

Am wondering if Makisini makes his debut? Luke or Staines absolutely cannot be in the centres

I'm not down on him, I'm simply satimg that he is not a FG level 6 despite what some seem to think after today's effort. He kicked a few goals and got us home and had a couple of good touches sure. But his general play kicking was not up to speed and his lack of organisation (two consecutive FG opportunities) could have cost us dearly.

Yep, as I mentioned earlier he could be a 14 if he was to do some work and be able to play 13 or on an edge in a pinch.
