Mav Geyer is a bum
Harry Hassett would be good though

Mav Geyer is a bum
He's got 2 more blokes ahead of him now in May and Makasini so it's not a huge surprise.Haven't seen it raised here but apparently Feledy back to Manly at seasons end.

Not on an NRL contract by the looks of things either. Good to see our roster getting some balance. He's got 2 more blokes ahead of him now in May and Makasini so it's not a huge surprise.
He's just average size and has no tackle/ line breaking ability. That's never been his game. Hes a worker, tackles and makes some soft hitups. No room for him and twal, too similar.Tony Sukkar had a very decent game against the roosters.
He is a hulk of a human, very mobile and young.
He will be very very good.
KPP. Could be our only top line signing for 26 , I feel we are banking on a May Jnr and Makseeni the young guy to fill the centre spot , we don’t seem to be in tank with anyone who is top shelf , I think we will bring in a few reserve graders , just a feeling
Not sure what you mean by non development system.Sione Fainu and Tony Sukkar are two good prospects who have emerged from our non-development system.

Back rowers need to be able to break tackles and the line. There is no room for plodders in the back row. If he's no 30 in your squad, and plays 1-2 games a season then ok. He's solid backup. If he's regularly getting minutes then he has to do his jobMaybe, but maybe also just playing to our strengths.
Not sure I want to see Sukkar take 20 hitups a game at the expense of more effective ball runners.
I am being facetious, referring to the Galvout manure that he wouldn't develop his game as a half under Marshall. How is that going for him now?Not sure what you mean by noon development system.
Yes Fainu was from Manly, but Sukkar played for Balmain in Matt's and Ball and was then on a development contract with WT before joining the top 30...
I don't disagree. He doesn't make my top 40 or 50 even, but credit where it's due. He held tight defensively which is job number 1.Back rowers need to be able to break tackles and the line. And the Tautua brothers . Plus many other backs . He is very much surplus to requirement .He's got 2 more blokes ahead of him now in May and Makasini so it's not a huge surprise.
Saukuru seems to have revelled since his move to the edge in flegg . Hopefully next year , he dominates koe and puts pressure to get a bench spot . We need guys pushing through to make guys like Seyfarth 18/ 19 manI don't disagree. He doesn't make my top 40 or 50 even, but credit where it's due. He held tight defensively which is job number 1.
Attack wise, we seemed to be fine without his input, but without a doubt I'd much rather have a guy that threatens the line AND can defend.
Honestly, my assessment is he was just holding on and gave absolutely everything he could within his limited talent.
These are the type of guys we gotta be looking at. On the fringe of first because firsts are full, from good systemsI rasied both of these guys as ones to watch in the pre season. I trust that we are in there fighting for this talent.
If a choice to extend either Staines / Naden, I'd pick Staines every time picking between the 2. He wants to compete and at least on the surface happy with the club and his place in it. Naden has had too many chances and too many ill disciplined actions whereas Staines has been solid and responsible.
Charlie has really given his all when called up to FG. I think he is finally back to where he was before his injury. He should have cemented a spot until Bula is back at least. The problem for us now is how Toa recovers from the elbow and if Romey gets through SOO injury free,If a choice to extend either Staines / Naden, I'd pick Staines every time picking between the 2.
