Give up? He's the best second row prospect currently at the club. Better than Godinet at present.
In fact we haven't had a back row prospect like him for a while. We should definitely be re-signing him in the coming months, a second rower who runs good lines and scores barnstorming tries. He just needs to work on his fitness and defence line all youngsters but we don't want to risk losing him to the Storm or Raiders.
he’s had a tough run which was probably the clubs fault for taking so long to realise 2RF is his best position. he’s still in our top 30 this year & next year just not sure if he’s completely out of the clubs plans atp
Not yet.
Both sides are winning and that's just as important for the players and the club. Yes they should play a couple of games up a grade before the end of the season, but having continuity to keep working on their game with the same players around them also breeds more confidence.
totally agree, it’s nice to see a consistent winning team & culture building there. some could play cup but they’ve seem to be taking the slow approach which is different to what we usually do and it’s been working well

Solo Saukuru will be a good example of how our club / Benji has improved or not improved in the area of developing players next season. He has all the attributes, just needs developing in the 1% ers by coaches. If we are to be a successful club, then Saukuru flourishes because Benji & our coaches have worked with him closely to fulfil his potential.

exactly, for me Sione is a huge example that the club has it in them to get the kids that have plateaued back to their best. hopefully sol is another one

He seems to have come on leaps and bounds this year mate , whoever identified him solely as an edge forward , or even convinced Solo himself he’s one , needs to be commended . He really could be anything ….

We need to show him that we have confidence in him by extending him now for that extra season.
We can't afford to let our best back row prospect go to a stronger team in November then push for immediate release.

Depends on the type of player you want.

He is not a better prospect than Godinet.

They are at different stages and have different strengths.

Phoenix is the far more professional of the two in my opinion.

ill discipline from Liles and a poor one on one missed tackle from Haywood allows Warriors to hit the scoreboard first. Down 6 nil...early days.
