Play stopped for a while with neck concerns for Jack Nicholas. Good to see him on his feet as he came from the field. A backline shift then gives us the lead 16 to 12. With Max Taotua now on the right wing and scoring. Tavana nails it from the sideline.

Iverson Matai carves them up on the next set and sends Solo Saukuru in. Tavana converts from next to the sticks. Tigers now hitting their straps and are up 22 to 12.

Feledy puts Naicori over in the corner 5 minutes after half time. Tavana the sideline specialist slots it straight through the posts. Tigers now up 28 to 16.

Max "Starford" Taotua with a beautiful flick pass working out of our own end sends Saukuru down the sideline. He draws and passes the fullback perfectly to send Matai over for his 2nd try. Tavana hits the upright and crossbar and it unfortunately bounces out. Up 32 to 16 with about 23 minutes left.

Now we are cooking! A contested bomb is dropped by the Wahs, picked by Saukuru who passes to Mataale and he does enough to get over the line. Tavana has no trouble with the conversion. Tigers lead 38 to 16. The boys look hungry for more!

His ex-coach was his dad, Saukuru, and his 2 brothers were always selected as centres and wingers by their coach/dad who wanted them in those positions.
Solo Saukuru has now been placed in his best position to progress, by the new coach seeing he wasn't a future NRL centre. More suited in the 2nd row [size, mobility].
Fingers crossed he has the desire to progress further?
