You are going to Heaven as a Tigers supporter as we have all paid for our sins just following this club.Is it OK if I wish nothing but bad luck to Galvin? I mean I'm not religious ,but will this kill off any chance of going to heaven (if it really exists)? Just asking......
Yes. Plenty will have a front row seat to the disappointment in rd 22Its going to be interesting viewing. I've learned not to death ride players in stronger systems to our position, it usually ends in disappointment.
I realise it helps their kicking game, but I’ve never liked Burton at five eighth. Needless to say, the Dogs aren’t winning a comp with Galvin & Burton as their halves.Big move. Of the times I've seen him on with the dogs he always looked like he was a bit lost, certainly not looking like anyone who could control the run of play.
How is making the prelims a success when they were ladder leaders halfway through the season?quite a big risk they've taken
if Dogs go on to get into the prelims this year and GF next year, their risk would've paid off IMO
Sexton 2025 Bulldogs win rate 75%
Galvin 2025 Bulldogs win rate 50%
That's the main stat they should be thinking about.
Bulldogs only have 4 losses all year, Galvin played in 2 and all of them came in the period after Galvin announced he was leaving Tigers and the innuendo started around Bulldogs.
So imagine no surprise at all if Sexton's mental state is affected if, after 6W 0L, club hires his replacement and tell him to go find a deal somewhere else.
They lose his defence and controlling the team around the park..I don't think they lose much if at all by playing Galvin it's just a shi*""y thing to do Sexton which no one will care about in a couple of weeks time if they can continue to win
If they start losing the coach will have to wear it.
Although I hope he uses it as motivation!I expect Sextons form to drop off rapidly the mental anguish will way him down
His dream of winning a NRL premiership as a number 7 since he was a kid is basically gone given to someone who has not earnt it
Clearly they think they have more to gain with him than without himThey lose his defence and controlling the team around the park..
There's no correlation between Galvin leaving and our results as far as ability on the field. He played in the Storm game. He cost us the game vs Souths. He isn't the reason we lost 6 straight - not directly. Its the downstream impact of having to start fresh with a new spine. Injuries and suspensions didn't help eitherI know we're enjoying Galvin not going well but we have well and truly proven how valuable he is by our absolutely abysmal form since he left. He's obviously struggling at a new club but it's obvious he was pivotal to us. Again, I wish that were not the case and we could prove how we're better off without him. Unfortunately that's not the case.
Maybe we can show something at the back end of our season and prove it otherwise, but I bet he's looking back at our club feeling nothing but relief that he's not a part of this developing train wreck. Sorry to be so negative. But losing and gloating doesn't really work.
Maybe ciraldo is a genius and it works..Clearly they think they have more to gain with him than without him
Employee neglect ya reckon?I expect Sextons form to drop off rapidly the mental anguish will way him down
His dream of winning a NRL premiership as a number 7 since he was a kid is basically gone given to someone who has not earnt it
100% If it works, Gus is a genius. If it fails, Ciraldo wanted him and couldn't get the best out of him.Maybe ciraldo is a genius and it works..
But maybe it's the sort of move you see in an A grade comp that results in the coach losing his job in the offseason... The doggies won't sack him... But they are all on this strategy for the immediate future and it could define ciraldos career...
