Adam Doueihi #227

Douehi had his best game in a very long time last week
So within a few days someone leaks to the media a blow up ?
Assume its a trivial event or are we just plain kamikaze with a constant drip feed of destructive media

The more I've thought about it, Douhei could be our biggest headache in the offseason if this move to #13 works... he could end up being a really hot commodity... Ball playing lock that can straighten the attack... Time will tell!

Haven’t read comments but I’m sure someone saw the Channel 10 story, trying to generate drama in the camp all because no contract has been signed 🙄

oh gosh what now 🤣
I didn’t see the story, just the banter between Sandra Sully and the other chick. Along the lines of “another day, another drama in Tigertown”. Why, cos a player might not get re-signed?

saw the clip, they made him do media & he got snappy with the reporter asking about his contract situation
nrl360 reckon he’s worth $400k, apparently our offer started with a 3.

It was an interesting interview, it seems quite clear he’s unhappy about something.
NRL 360 mentioned our 1 year offer is likely well short of his expectations, but I get the impression it’s more than just that.
I would think a 1 year deal would work well for WT. It’s not like we have no spots like last year.

Moses is probably pushing for top dollar though.

get rid of the mug...

Reporter..."would you like to stay here?'
Doueihi " we'll see what happens".
Reporter..."would you like to be given the chance to repay them?"
Doueihi ''we'll see what happens".

To me that sounds like he wont be here and he knows it ,
hence why he went out and joined the Isuuk Mushrooms stable.

He really hasnt done nothing special these last couple of years anyway , and now that
its contract year he's pulled up his socks and shown a little to get a contract.
Might be a case of too little too late.
