Not going to lie, I'm so happy there's a rebel league starting. Hope it gets off the ground, the games needed this for ages. The N.R.L admin now have to make a choice, give the fans what we want, or get left behind. They either allow the aggression back in or the N.R.L becomes irrelevant. They've sanitised the game to the point it's becoming unrecognisable to satisfy the corporates for the advertising and media dollars. The game has lost its soul. Now the N.R.L can still ban bust ups, the Saudis won't, N.R.L can keep curbing the aggression for brain injuries, the Saudis won't. Players will take the cash and the risks and they'll play if it gets off the ground. It's win win. If the N.R.L doesn't adapt and get back to what the fans love, then just tune into the Saudi league. The other thing I love is since it's inception the N.R.L have allowed a comp of the haves and have nots with the non enforcement of the salary cap and 3rd party deals, I'm stoked that Melbourne, Brisbane, Bulldogs and Roosters are now the have nots aswell. Love to see uncle Nick try to compete with Saudi money, were going to find out how good the Roosters way really is if this thing gets going. The N.R.L needs the competition to wake the admins up so bad.

I can't see it unless its Benji falling on his sword, but i think its fairly obvious Benji hasn't worked and if he does want to be a coach needs to be an assistant for a good few years first.
If this has any legs though you'd imagine Willie Peters probably high on Richo's list.

I know it's coaching but do we really rate coaches in the Super League. I'd prefer Brad Arthur he took Parramatta from.bottom to a gf. I'm just not sure on players or coaches playing in SL.

Titans, Eels & Dragons have had all their Bye's. That needs to be taken into account.

Not surprisingly- nearly ALL the top sides, except the Raiders & Broncos, have also had all their Bye's.

When you factor in the free 2 points to the teams still to get their 3rd Bye....the ladder looks interesting.

Tell me, who is the one that makes the call, is it Richo or HBG?

If it's Richo, then Benji is safe as houses.. the exception being if the senior playing group approached Richo...

Richo has people he has to balance the books for and show improvement on the field considering the players there buying. I can see how HBG group will be satisfied with another spoon or close to it. If Benji is focused on seeing this club succeed surely he needs to see he may not be the man.for the job, despite us fans wanting him to succeed ..Can we really afford any more spoons.

Richo should be on the phone to them advising we have 3 other really good players who would be perfect for them, Royce Hunt, Jack Bird and Jayden Sullivan.
Surely they can throw in All You Can Eat Frogs Legs every Tuesday night as part of Royce’s deal ?

Don’t agree on hunt, he has been demoted due to poor coaching. He put hunt as starter, who obviously is an impact player with high weight. Because of injuries and his offloading of Klemmer left us short, he is trying to glass over his errors.
Hunt won’t play great in reges put him back in firsts, he’ll show ya

Picture for one moment that you're a CEO that gets minimal financial support from HBG. What does one do? Piss and moan about it? Or go out and turn a profit and make the club self sufficient to get the resources it needs to win those premierships.

I don't think the owners have given the CEO much choice here.

When I hear our only talent scout is Shannon Gallant on a part-time basis, it's obvious HBG put nowhere near the amount we need into the football department. Imagine where else we are lacking if that is allowed to occur in the premier football code in the country.

I see a guy who has inherited a mess. Nothing was done well at our club. Absolutely nothing. He is trying to fix it all, yet people expect overnight results. The timeframe people are willing to wait doesn't match the job that needs to be done to get us back on track.

I think me included people are just not accepting how difficult the job is with the way the club is run.
I've been posting out of emotion Benji needs to go and I'm a massive benji fan . I dint think anyone can guarantee another coach does a better job so maybe we are all a bit to hard on Benji. I do think Richo should of insisted on having the right people around benji and not so much he's own crew . My only question is how long do they give him at the end of the day winning games is what it's all abt. Glad I'm.not Richo. F... that.
